Getting up from bed me and Mauri make our way out of the room, down the stairs and into the kitchen to the smell of breakfast cooking.Mattia got up pretty early to cook breakfast for us because Mauri's teacher will be here in a minute.She got hired by Mattia and got escorted here confidentially by our guards who made sure they weren't being followed.Eating his food he lay his head on my left arm as I ate with my right looking down at him as he stays attached to me.Mauri was very attached to me I loved that about him.He's definitely a big fan of me but most likely Mattia also.As we eat it were a bit too quiet it was a scary quiet
Usually we would hear the sound of the guards outside scurrying around or speaking to one another loudly but there was none of that.That's when I hear gun shots go off and glass breaking around the house.Grabbing Mauri who was screaming loud as he covered his ears in my arms I take him as I fall to the ground with him in my arms and run to our room as Mattia gathers some guards and shoots at whoever were attacking us.Locking the bedroom door I put Mauri in the bathroom telling him to lock it as I grab a gun that were in Mattia drawer.Cocking it back I hold it up ready to shoot if anyone broke down the door.Scared I hear a loud bang hit the door.Coming inside after a few bangs were Mattia who's hair was all over his face,"We killed them off but it won't be to long until they get more people after us, grab Mauri and the guards will bring our bags out, we have to relocate now",he says out of breathe as he grabs some things and the guards come in grabbing our suitcases
"Mauri come out we need to go buddy,their gone",Mattia says out of breathe from all of the running around he did.Opening the door he hops into Mattias arms and I grab Mattias hand as we ran out of the room and to the car.Getting inside I put Maurizio's seatbelt on and than I got in putting mine on as Mattia started the car and sped off.I had no idea where we were going but as long as it's safe and away from whoever is looking for us to get to my son.But we aren't letting that happen.Handing me a a machine gun Mattia tilts his head back.Turning around I could see a car parked into the trees thinking we wouldn't see them,"Mauri baby lay on the seat,close your eyes, and cover your ears,okay?",I say to him as I open the window.Looking back at him he nodded and did everything I told him to do.Sticking my body out of the window I place the gun out of the window as the car began to gain on us.I immediately started shooting at their front tires
Missing one I cuss under my breathe.Getting back inside the car Mattia presses the gas more but they began shooting at the car hitting the mirror on the passenger side causing Mauri to scream and get scared which made Mattia to get angry and so did I but I was more than that,"Stop the car",I say to the boy next to me he looks at me like I'm stupid.But I give him a look making him stop the car getting out of the car.I held the machine gun as two of the men got out I'm guessing that's all they had with them.Putting smirks on their faces they crack their knuckles
But I just giggle to myself,pointing behind them I make them look back and than shoot them both straight in their heads,"Idiots",I mumble under my breathe as I head back to the car and get inside Mattia pulling off once I get in and put my seatbelt on
In the hotel room we all lay in bed watching the tv they had and eating food.Running my fingers through Mauri's head he drifts off to sleep on my lap holding onto a bag of Cheetos.Taking them from him I hand them to Mattia who sets them on the dresser next to him,"I want this to be over,I want him to have a normal and happy life",I say to the dark haired boy whom my head lays on as he caresses my hair.Sighing he adjusts his eyes from the tv to my eyes as I look up at him.Nodding he agrees,"I promise it will all be over soon, trust me I want him to have a normal life to, one where he won't have to fear for his life or being taken away from us",he says to me as he slouches a bit into the bed.Grabbing my chin he pulls me into a soft kiss
"I promise you both I'll kill that son of a bitch if he ever hurts him or you, he'll never get to see the light of day if he takes my son, and i mean it",he says to me as he placed another kiss on my soft lips,"Good",I say to the boy who gave me one last peck before turning the lamp off and than cuddling me and Mauri.Soon we all fell asleep to the sound of the movie playing on the tv.Something deep down inside me tells me this is only just the...
