Boxes

Most people have a box

Walls on all sides

And we think if stay there we'll be safe sound

But life can tear your box
Make you open to the world
Realize the wonder and terror that lay outside your walls

But then you live outside of the box for awhile and begin to breathe better
Create, imagine, explore

But you still have your box tucked away
For when you want to feel safe

But some are not like everyone else
We burn out box the moment we received it
We never wanted to be confined
With the walls caving in and stifling us.
We wanted to be free and experience things from the second we should stepped foot in this world

I am one of these few
But unlike them I still have boxes placed around me while I daydream
Then I wake in panic and terror because I am isolated and trapped

Your so bubbly
Calm down
Grow up
Your too young
Your have voice, use it
Be silent
Be loud
Pipe down

All of these reasons and more

For, I will never let someone put a box on me,
I shall burn it if they dare try,
cause I will not be confined by society
when I am born to be special and stand apart from the crowd
