"Sasuke?"

Sasuke turned around to see who had called his name. He had almost made it to his car, but was spotted right before he could get to the drivers door. It took him a moment to recognize the voice that called his name. Upon seeing the bouncing pink hair, he internally groaned.

"It is you! Holy crap! When did you get back into town?" Sakura asked as she skipped over to the raven. They had not seen eachother since highschool graduation. Sasuke had gone over seas to an Ivy League college for business. Sakura had stayed in their hometown for medical school.

"I got back a couple of days ago" he stated flatly. He was not in the mood for her obnoxious fawning over him that she always did.

"It's so good to see you! What are you doing out this late?" Sakura was pleasantly surprised to see the raven before her. She had always had a crush on him throughout school, but not so much anymore. Sasuke, Naruto, and Sakura had been the best of friends all through their highschool careers. The three of them were practically inseparable.

"I don't see how that concerns you" Sasuke spit back.

"Still a raging douche I see. No wonder Naruto avoids talking to you" she mumbled mostly to herself as she started to walk away. There was no way she was going to stand there and be treated like that. All she did was greet her long lost friend.

"D-Did he say something about me or something?" Sasuke asked as he raised an eyebrow. 'Did he tell her about us?' he asked to himself as he was the pinkette look over her shoulder.

"I don't see how that concerns you" she mocked before flipping her hair with her hand and walking away.

Truth is, she was curious to find out what had happened between the two of them. Naruto wasn't the same after highschool. He had closed himself off and refused to speak about Sasuke again. She was hoping by running into Sasuke, she might be able to get some answers as to what happened and why.

"Sakura, wait!" Sasuke called out to her as he walked over towards her. He wanted to know if she knew about them. He needed to know if Naruto had told her what Sasuke said that day. He knew that Naruto and Sakura had always been close. Closer than him and Sakura ever were.

Sakura didn't say anything as she stopped and turned to face him. She placed a hand on her hip and cocked an eyebrow, glaring at the approaching raven. Sasuke stood before her awkwardly. He obviously wanted to ask her something, but wasn't sure how to. He had never been good at communication. She let out a sigh before shaking her head and walking away once more.

"What happened to him?" Sasuke blurted out as he had watched Sakura start to walk away.

Stopping once again, she never turned around as she replied. "To who?"

'Does he not know either?' she questioned to herself. She thought if anyone would know, it would be Sasuke. Naruto and Sasuke had been best friends for a long time and Naruto told him everything. There wasn't a single thing about the blond that Sasuke didn't know.

Sasuke scoffed. "Naruto? Who do you think?"

Sakura rolled her eyes as she turned around and faced the rude man before her. "Some things just never change, huh? What do you mean what happened to him?"

"He's.. different. He isn't the same obnoxious person that he used to be"

"Are we talking about the same Naruto here?" Sakura asked as she looked at Sasuke, puzzled. Sure Naruto didn't talk about his personal life and avoided the topic of Sasuke at all cost, but he was still the same annoying blond he had always been. He was always the life of the party when all of their friends got together. His smile was just as contagious as it had always been. Sasuke had to be confused.
