A/N: This is just an AU. Remember that so I dont need to tell yall the same thing over and over again. And this is Part 1 :))

Venti's POV:-
I was roaming around Mondstadt, trying to find the red-headed male, or so I called 'My crush'. I have been crushing on Diluc for a long time now, but I just couldn't find the right time to confess. After minutes of searching, I finally found him at Good Hunters, with Jean.. Its looks like a date, but I dont think about it much, I just assumed that they bumped into each other earlier that day and decided to hang a little since Jean has been pretty busy lately.

Its been a 3 whole day and I keep seeing Jean and Diluc hanging around each other, They almost looks like a mad-in-love couple now, and I cant do anything except for being jealous

I ran to the Tavern to see if Diluc was there, I wanted to ask about his relationship with Jean, but when I got there, I only saw Kaeya, other customers, and a bartender which is not Diluc. I was shocked because this is the time where Diluc would be behind the Tavern counter and serve customers. I walked to the table where Kaeya sit, I sat on the chair beside Kaeya with a really upset face. " You okay, Venti? " He asks. " Yeah, Just stressed " I answered with a kinda sad tone " About what? Diluc? " As soon as that sentence slipped out of Kaeya's mouth, I instantly looks at him while my face reddens. " How'd you- " " Its obvious, you've been following Him and Jean for a while now " Before I could even finish my question, He answered slightly. " Oh.. " I sighed " Hey, Its okay, well not really, Diluc have a really big crush on Jean if I remember correctly " Kaeya said. I look back at him " So its hopeless now? " I asked, I feel so sad after knowing Diluc, the person i have been crushing on for so long, likes someone else. I feel jealous and mad at Jean, but its impossible to hate her, she's a kind, pretty, caring, and hard-working woman, while me? Im just a weak archon and a useless drunkard. " Hey- dont be sad, uh- how about we get a drink? " Kaeya offered, and of course I agreed, its not like I have better things to do either

Diluc's POV:-
Its 7 pm, Me and Jean have been hanging out all day long, and I decided to work at the Tavern for a bit. I walked into the Tavern and saw Venti and Kaeya talking with a bunch of empty alcohol bottles on the table, Im guessing theres 4 bottles..? And it seems like Venti is more drunk then Kaeya. I sighed and walks towards them, " What are you guys still doing here, you both are so drunk " I asked, " Oh hello, dear brother, how's your date with Miss Jean ?~ " Kaeya asked me, ignoring my question. I looked at the bartender that are working behind the counter, " who lets you give this much alcohol to them? " I asked the bartender with a death stare, " O-oh they paid a lot so im just trying to be fair.. " The bartender answered nervously, I sighed yet again, telling him to leave the Tavern since his shift is over. After the bartender left, Diluc looks at his brother and his best friend, Kaeya and Venti. " Yall better not give me a lot of troubles tonight.. " I said to them, " Ah~ No worries, Diluc, Im going to go sleep, all of these conversations makes sleepy already " Kaeya speaks, Putting his head on the table and suddenly fell asleep. I then looks at Venti who is beside Kaeya, and he looks back at me with a weird face, " Why are you looking at me like that ? " I asked, he come up to me, tearing up, " H-hey whats wrong..? " I asked him again. " I hate you..! " Venti said while running out of the Tavern, I was shocked and confused at the same time, then I heard Kaeya talking, " Just let him be, that bard had a rough day ". " When the hell did you woke up ? " I asked Kaeya, " Just now , and Im going back to sleep " Kaeya answered, I heard a snore instantly, I sighed and decided to clean the Tavern, Kaeya and Venti did a lot of mess.
