I opened up my eyes to the sun shining brightly in my face. My entire body is sore. "What kind of party did I attend" I whisper to myself as I take in my surroundings. I feel a cold breeze on my skin. As I look down everything from last night comes back to me.

*flashback*
"Happy birthday to me" I whisper knowing I'll shift for the first time in a few hours. As I wait I snuggle down and read my favorite book 'the golden compass'.
A few hours later I get up to get some water from the stream. Stepping out of my little makeshift house made of tarps I feel a sharp pain in my back. I begin walking twards the steam again. Feeling more pain I stop but it doesn't. It slowly gets more painful till I start to hear my bones crack.
My eyes widen I had forgotten about the changing. My cloths are shredded now. And I feel a sudden heat in the back of my mind. It just kept getting hotter and hotter , till suddenly it just ... Stopped . I looked down to white paws.

"It's over " I whisper to myself . I get up and look in the water at my reflection. I was all white with green eyes. Wait green ... I have blue eyes. I knew when I shifted my wolf may be different. But green eyes?

Suddenly there's a tiny voice in the back of my mind that keeps getting louder. "Hello I'm Lee. I am your wolf." I jump at the sound of the voice.

"Well she sounds like she's in a bad mood" I think to myself

"I heard that" she growls

"Oh sorry" I tell her. "How do I shift back?" I ask hesitantly.

"Think of yourself on two legs walking as a human" she states.

As I do what she said I begin to change back. It's not as painful this time but it leaves me laying in the ground. I'm so sore, "I'll just lay here and take a five minute nap" I say closing my eyes.
