Chapter 3 - a friendly chat

*Sabre's pov*

Why is there lightning? Who could it be or what could it be? A new or old enemy? Wait could have void survived somehow? The lightning started to die down showing a Steve that knows his timing.

"Oh thank god Steve it's just time" I say under my breath.

"Excuse me Light, may I borrow Sabre?"

"Oh hay Time, yeah sure he's just sitting over there"

Time starts walking over to me. Wonder what he needs.

"Hay Sabre, can we talk?"

"Yeaah, about what may I ask?"

"I over heard what you and that green Steve were talking about."

Oh no know I need to explain myself. Or I could run!

"If you want to talk then you have to catch me!"

"Hay! Sabre get back here"

I really don't feel like explaining right now so might as well make him tired then, wow I actually have a lot of energy right now.

*✨time skip✨*

I think I've been running for an hour or two eh who knows, but what I do know is that I'm now tired and time seem to not be physically tired but just sick of chasing me. I collapse on the ground.

"SABRE ARE YOU OK!?!"

"Yeah just tired but worth it"

"Oh... Come here, let go to my dimension and have a chat. No escaping now."

I just let him pick me up and teleport us to his 'home'. It's not like I'm hiding my age from him, he already knows so meh. A bright light fills my vision as lightning start striking us. How it doesn't hurt I don't know but in the Steve realm it seems that anything can happen. The bright light starts to fade and I see we're in the time dimension now, Time then leads me to a room I've never seen before and closes a door that I had no clue that it was there.

"Now Sabre do you mind telling me why you're keeping you age a secret, just know I'm not mad or anything, just curious."

"Umm, well, I guess I just didn't want anyone feeling like they had to protect me. I know I'm young but I can fight and I've proven it too, so I think I just don't want to rely on others." It feels weird telling Time about all this but he does feel like a big brother to me and I wouldn't mind him being protective over me.

"You do know there's only so much a 10 year old can do."

"I know and I also know what my limit i-." I get cut off by the sound of thunder.

"Oh no Elemental is here."

"TIME I KNOW YOU HAVE SABRE HERE, SHOW YOURSELVES!"

How is he so loud and oh boy is he's angry oof. Time slowly steps out of the room revealing his location with me hiding behind him with him being the tall British Steve he is, like he's double my height with me being a bit taller than a block.

"Why is he here? I thought I told you we won't interfere with anything."

"I know Ele, but all I was doing was having a friendly conversation with my friend, what can't chat with him as well!"

"I feel like I should leave now sooooo... nice having a chat with you time, I'll show myself out bye" I book it into the portal knowing that would be an argument. The portal sent me to the portal inside the citadel. I should tell Light that I'm back, he should be at the colourless guard's headquarters. I find him in the armoury talking with some guards.

"Hay light I'm back, if you need me I'll be in my house most likely asleep bye"

"Ok Sabre!"

I head into my house to my room about to flop on the bed then I found a note it read 'leave while you still can' eh probably means nothing to tired to think right now, time for bed :D.
