Chapter 29

Anastasia's pov:

Have you ever felt so tired that you can't take it anymore?

I walk home and dad's not home, which is normal, but mom isn't either.

Maybe she's gone for her interview.

I go to my room and rest.

I've get sleep instantly.

Maria knocks on my door.

It's 5.

What the fuck?

Why didn't she wake me earlier?

"Ma'am, your father has asked to be downstairs."

And she leaves.

I go downstairs.

Daddy looks stressed.

His head is in his hands, is he crying?

Why is everyone so sad?

There was a box on the table?

Is that mom's head?

Oh my God.

I'm going to throw up.

I run to the washroom and puke and cry, till I faith on the bathroom floor.

I wake up in sweat.

I run downstairs and see that mom's home.

"Hey baby, when did you get home?" And my eyes teared up.

I ran to her and hugged her.

"I'm sorry for the way I've been treating you lately, Mum." I say to her with tears.

"It's okay baby, I know it's alot to handle." She says with a calm voice, I missed this.

"I've been having bad dreams lately, people close to me die in my dreams, and then i wake up with a ton of sweat, I would like to see a councellor, if that's okay?" I ask mom, I know she wouldn't say no. She nods at me with agreement.

"Where were you?" I ask her, we need to gear up this conversation.

"Oh well, since now I don't have to take care of you and Brett and we own a big house with a many people serving us, I thought I'd get a job." She says.

"Ahh, how was the interview then?" I ask her.

"It was good, if don't get the job, your dad will make sure I do." Sje says and chuckles.

"How was school?" She asks me and I reply, " you know, same old, same old. Did you know Nina was in a mafia too? And so is Skyler." I ask her but she seems surprised.

"Ha, that makes so much sense now, your dad prefers keeping us out of such things." She says.

"Yeah. I'm not surprised." I say.

We saw Dad's car pull over and stopped talking.
