Flash back to Five days ago
" are you willing on falling in love with Ivory Parks?" The question gemma asked me kept ringing in my head after Ivory left my office that day. That day I realized that maybe Ivory needed something more than just a playtime. She needed attention and affection and love. Not just lust. She doesn't need me, she needs Collin Gale. I can't be what she wants. I have to leave but I can't, some how she pulls me back to her like she's heroin. She's the drug and I'm the addict. Just by a few conversations and a few kisses and one date and I'm already a mess. How? What's her magic?
" Mr. Campbell you have a Ms. Wills out here, saying she needs to speak to you " gemma said utterly annoyed.
Oh Rebecca Wills
" Tell her Im busy " I said not wanting to speak to that slut
" She - no Ms Wills you can't - " Gemma said and with that she came bursting in
" Xavier! I deserve an explanation to why you haven't called once " she said
Great.
" Gemma please leave us alone " I said "Rebecca I told you, you are nothing to me, all you were was a hit it and quit it. It's ok you're not the first nor the last. " I said to her.
" Are you sure Xavier? Are you sure you don't miss me? You don't miss that night? Our perfectly lustful night? " She said coming towards me.
She was trying to seduce me. She was standing right in fronted me and next thing you know it she's all over me and I just couldn't help it. everything went cazy. The only thing is that after all of that I was two hours late for Ivory.
How could I be so stupid? I ditched her for some slut who just wants my money? My sweet precious Ivory. Oh god I fucked up.
Maybe I can't and won't change for her even if I want to?
End of flashback -------
Present :
It was early morning when I arrived at Parks Property.
" Goodmorning Mr. Campbell " the receptionist told me as I signed in. I didn't bother to reply. I just took the name tag given and walked off.
I entered the meeting room and said hello to Alejandro Delano and Ashton of course.
We decided it will be a good idea to get Delano into this project, he's a great deal breaker and he also owns some land next to ours.
As we were talking about the Indonesia project and all the parts needed to sell out this to The Parks. Ivory walked in.
She looked so beautiful in that green dress and her hair curled. Her sweet smile on her as she walked in.
Delano said goodmorning to her and she happily replied and added myself in Ashton in her reply. The way Alejandro looked at her was not the type of way you want someone to look at your girl.
She asked us a question but was cut off by her phone ringing.
She was talking to Collin Gale. She was laughing along with him and all of a sudden she got sad. Her voice seemed cracked and helpless.
She ended the called with " I love you Collin Gale." that hurt me.
" Ivory are you ok? " I asked looking at her.
She raised and turned her eyes towards me and she said " I don't know " but her beautiful emerald green eyes seemed like a storm of saddness. They were dull and full of tears not wanting to escape.
Ivan and Ian walked in. I'm guessing Mr. Parks number three is back. they were talking to her and comforting her.
Now I know why they hate to see her cry. Why seeing Ivory Parks cry is so painful and just plain wrong.
" Can't you guys see I haven't slept in days? i I - " she said and then all tears and everything she was holding in broke.
They told her to go home and that she did.
She loves Collin. Her sweet perfect young relationship with him. She doesn't need me, a brute, a womanizer, a totally fool who has no self-control over his own actions.
I need to see her.
" Excuse me gentlemen but I have an emergency I have to settle " I said to The two Parks brothers and to Johnson and Delano.
" ok Mr. Campbell but be back by 5 "
I nodded and walked off. I need to see Ivory.
I tried calling her cell but it's off.
I drove to her house and I wouldn't dare knock at her door. I don't need the Parks wondering why I'm here. I parked at the back street and I knew right away which one was her room. It's the one with the balcony. I also remembered she went in through a door. I found the red colored door and I prayed it was open and to my luck it was.
" Can you please take Ivory's tea to her room Sara " the middled aged women spoke to the young lady
" Of course sussie " she replied and grabbed the tea from sussie
They went there separate ways and I was left in the hallow hallway.
I saw a door and I decided to open it. there was a staircase going up. I went up those stairs and at the top was a door and I opened the door and it was a small room. I saw posters of dancers and ballet shoes and I knew I was close to Ivory. I spotted another door and opened it. I came upon a much bigger room now. A closet actaully. Ivory's closet
" Lady Ivory I'll set your tea here " someone said
" Thank you Sara but it's just Ivory. No need for the lady part " Ivory said I heard a door closed so I decided to walk out.
Ivory's back was turned to me as she was looking for something. I observed her room and I can see she still has her sunflowers. I stood there still and looked around in my place. Her room was decor grey, two shades of purple and black.
She hasn't noticed I was there because she soon went to go see the sunflowers.
" I'm glad you love them " I said almost as a whisper. She didn't get startled
" I was waiting for you to say something " she responded. " how did you get in here? " She asked
" Red door my sweet pea " I told her walking towards her
" Xavier please leave. I don't want to see you right now " she said not ever turning to see me
" Ivory please. Talk to me. Look I'm sorry for leaving you. it was not my intention I promise you " I said
" No I'm sorry. I'm sorry ok? I'm sorry for leading you on Xavier. I've come to a conclusion and nothing can ever happened between us. " she said.
" No Ivory . I told you already I get what I want. I don't - "
" Well then there's a first for everything. I'm sorry now pleas- " she cut me off but I cut her of by crashing my lips into hers.
Her sweet lips were something I want to kiss everyday of my life. The way she stood there shocked but eventually managed to give in by putting her arms around me.
" Xavier " she said between the kiss
" Please love" I said pulling her closer to me.
Without realizing we got to her bed and I was soon on top of her, my hands roaming her beautiful legs while she made my hair a tangle mess.
We stopped kissing and I looked down on her and I don't know if coming here was a mistake or not but as soon as I saw her smile I knew it was a perfect idea. We stared at each other for a minute or two and then she kissed me.
" This is wrong but it feels so right " she said to me
"Ivory.. Be my date to the De Rio ball " I told her.
" Xavier I can't. I'm expected to show up with a date, not Xavier Campbell " she said.
" Ivory are you ok? Ivan and Ian told me about what happened" Isabelle came bursting into the door. " Oh Mr. Campbell I wasn't expecting you to be here. " she said. " mostly like this with Ivory " she whispered the last part.
I got up and pulled Ivory up as well
" Isabelle haven't you heard of knocking? " Ivory told her bestfriend annoyed
" Yes I have but haven't you heard of ' you live with three older brothers who are so over protected of you and not to mention they are extremely hot' i think you shouldn't be making out with someone in your room " Isabelle said. " mostly Xavier Campbell " she said giving me a dirty look.
What did I do to that brat?
" What do you want love? " Ivory asked
" Well I need to talk to you about something I found out and I want to ask you if you're going to be able to handle Collin leaving. Oh! And I want to see your dress for Saturday! " She said
" About what? What did you find out Ms. FBI. " Ivory joked
" Something but that has to be said in a different time. now are you going to be able to let Collin, your boyfriend go? You know the guy you love so much" Isabelle told her, saying it lid enough for me to hear.
" Isabelle we can talk about that a different time as well. And no you can't see my dress! It's a surprise "
" Oh my god! You and your surprises. Ok but can I at least know who your taking? " Isabelle kept asking questions but this one caught my hearing a lot.
There was a long pause and Ivory didn't answer
" I don't yet " she said. I asked her? Why couldn't she say me?
" Ivory you have like a day or two! C'mon! Look I heard Brendan Chanson was thinking of asking you." Isabelle said to her winking.
" You mean the guy who sleeps around? No thank you! My father will kill me! Not to mention I will look like a totally whore! " She said.
Somehow that hurt.
" Then who? " she asked her once again
Ivory left and came back with two files.
" My dad gave me these and said to pick one out of the two, but honestly I don't want any " she said
Isabelle took them from her and opened them.
" Wow your dad sure knows how to pick them" she told Ivory
" Haven't even seen them " Ivory said
" I think you'll like candidate number 2, he has taken dance classes, he has black hair and navy blue eyes. Oh and in his picture he is wearing a very stylish vintage suite" Isabelle said. Was that what Ivory liked?
" Maybe. I don't know. " Ivory barley responded. " who is it? " She asked.
