(A/N) If you are still here I gotta say thank you because I didn't think anyone would read so far.

"A villain is just a victim whose story hasn't been told yet."

---------------------------------

"What the fuck is wrong with you right now Loki!" Tony yelled seeing the god flinch slightly "Why aren't you answering me godammit." he said before kneeling down and pulling the hood off of the prisoner. "Fucking hell," Tony whispered dropping the plate of food with a crash.

--------------------------

"NO THOR! I don't think you quite understand that your brother's face LOOKS LIKE ITS BEEN TO HELL AND BACK." Tony yelled, banging his fist on the. The sight of Loki's face would've brought up his breakfast if he had had any. A gaping red scar ran across one of his eyes nearly till his chin, you could tell he had nearly been blinded. Cuts and bruises were littered upon the skin like freckles some shallow and others deep. But the worst part wasn't any of that, it was his mouth and the bright golden-green threads woven across it leaving dried blood and deep gashes in its wake.

No wonder the god hadn't made any of his smart remarks or snide comments when arriving.

Thor seemed nonchalant upon receiving the information like the blond already had heard this before numerous times. With the way he had dragged his brother to the cell Tony wouldn't be surprised if he was the cause of this. "First of all, Man of Iron he is not my brother." Thor started causing an inhumane growl to release from the back of Tony's throat. "I don't give a fuck if he's the Queen of China. HE CAN'T LOOK LIKE THAT."

"If that is your primary concern I can simply ask him to use his seider to form a cover, he would be happy to use his magic once again," Thor said, banging Mljonir on the table as green sparks flew from it. "That's not the point Thor! You don't understand!" Tony immediately regretted his words as the blonde's eyes grew dark and he rose from his seat. "I do not understand?" he spat venomously "I do understand mortal! I understand that my brother is a traitor and a murderer for whom death would be a mercy! He will lie his way out of every crime if we let him speak!" Thor yelled.

"Just as he lied about mother's death," he mumbled at the end turning away from the curious gazes. Tony stopped short at that sentence, he didn't know how to deal with the sentiment. The genius had shut off his emotions long ago, the pain and struggle of dealing with them too much. Having emotions crawl their way back into his life right now after years of dealing without them and finally enjoying his life was just fucked up. He hated the morsel of fear that wormed its way into his heart. "I'm...I'm sorry I didn't know." the genius muttered, cursing himself for his stutter.

"You mortals know nothing," Thor growled storming out of the room and leaving an uncomfortable atmosphere behind. "I'm going to check on him." Banner mumbled awkwardly pushing back his chair and leaving in a much calmer fashion. "Do you wanna start a war with another alien planet, Tony? Why are you sticking up for Loki all of a sudden?" Steve questioned his disappointed tone piercing Tony worse than Thor's angry one had. Ignoring each person in the room the genius left, in search of an alcohol bottle eager to drown his feelings away in the liquid.

"Well, you've got it sorted haven't you?" Tony slurred leaning against the thick glass of the cage causing the green-eyed god to stare at him a blank look on his face. "You don't have to do deal with all the emotions and the words and listening to every shitty person with useless stuff spewing out of their mouth." Tony continued his eyes unfocused as he recalled all the shit he had had to take when he was younger. "You're safe behind that cage." he finished before collapsing onto the floor his drink rolling out of his hand.

"NO BANNER! You do not understand anything!" Thor growled shoving away the scientist ignoring the hurt look on his face. He was confused and upset, why would he mortal like Tony care so much about his brother? Why would he of all people be worried about Loki? Most of all he felt frustrated with the genius who had no right to barge in on a family decision and completely change Thor's perspective.

Loki had done some terrible things to the name of Asgard and the people of Midgard and even to the royal family as Thor had recently found out. When Odin had told him, he was furious with his brother. He had always looked past Loki's heritage refusing to admit that the god he was raised with was not his own blood and he always ignored the raven's attempt to exclude himself from the family.

"He was determined to kill the only person who tied him to the family, he was jealous because she was not his true mother. He led the dark elves to her."

Thor had embraced his father's words without hesitation after Loki's stunt on Midgard the blonde had no trouble in believing that Loki would do such a thing. Losing his temper he ordered his brother's imprisonment to be extended and the torture worsened. Mourning Frigga's death had already taken a toll on him, finding out that his brother was the cause of all that misery only made him see red. He never regretted extending the punishment so the fact that Tony's words had made their impact in his head.

"He shouldn't fucking look like that."

Loki had been his brother at one point in time, whether it was built on a lie or not their childhood had been real. All the times that Loki had hidden in the thunder god's room scared of their father's wrath, the times where he had woken up Thor in the middle of the night an excited look on his face and a new magic trick in his abilities. Guilt trickled through the blonde's system and a sheepish looked crept its way onto his face.

"Excuse me Mr. Banner and Mr.Odinson but I believe that the prisoner is having some form of an attack." Jarvis interrupted, pulling Thor away from his memories. The two Avengers shared a look, the only word registering in their minds were prisoners and attack. Racing towards the door both the Avengers stopped short courtesy taking over both. "You can go first," Bruce mumbled a slight blush creeping over his face as he bumped into the god. "No, no I insist you go first," Thor replied equally embarrassed.

Both stood there unsure what to do, "How about we go together," Thor said gently holding the scientist's hand and walking through the doorway.
