"Ready?"
I looked up, to see Ashton waiting at the bottom of the stairs. He was wearing black skinny jeans with a dark blue shirt on, looking smart yet casual at the same time."Uh- yeah." I shyly nodded, looking down at the floor awkwardly.
"Great, Ashton, you'll have to get your car. Jessica, Harry and Lauren can all fit in to mine." Ann announced, as she rushed around in a panic, searching for something frantically.
"I'll take Jessica in my car. Gives you less to worry about." Ashton offered, sending me a cheeky, discreet wink behind his mother's back. I blushed, before trying to cover my face with my thick, brown hair through shame.
"Aw, Ashton! You star!" She shrieked, before continuing with her mad-rush.
Ashton led me outside, and through to his big, black car.
"This is your car?" I questioned, taken aback by how luxurious it was for a kid his age.
"Yeah, it's cool, huh?" He chuckled, sweeping his hand across the dash board to remove a tiny bit of dust. I admit, it was in good condition for a guy, I mean, I'm not trying to be sexist, but most guys have messy cars.
"I don't even have a car." I giggled, slightly embarrassed, I mean, how many 17 year old girls don't drive? All of my friends back home could.
"Can you drive?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as he started the car. I nervously shook my head, probably blushing again as I tried to look out of the window.
Until, I felt a hand grab my chin, when my head was turned to face Ashton's.
"You blush a lot, don't you? You don't have to hide it. It's cute."
Of course, this made me blush even more. So while Ashton is sat looking more than hot in the driver's seat, I'm sitting here like a red, ripe tomato beside him.
He chuckled, then switched on his music. I instantly recognised the opening to an All Time Low song, making me internally fangirl.
I gently tapped my foot against the floor, and bobbed my head along to the beat of 'I feel like dancing', not noticing Ashton's stare on me.
"You like all time low?" He quizzed, a judgemental look in his eye.
"Yes. Is that a problem?"
"No, just didn't expect that from you."
"Well, I'll have you know I love All Time Low." I stated, crossing my arms over my chest.
"You don't look like someone who likes All Time Low?" He mocked, genuinely getting on my nerves.
"Well, you don't look like someone who knows everything." I snapped, regretting it straight away.
He muttered something under his breath, why was he being rude again? I didn't like that side of him.
He turned the volume dial up, almost blowing out the speakers.
What did I even do?
-----
He jerked the car around a sharp turn, then carelessly pulled over outside a little club.
"Get out." He spat, before storming out and slamming hs door.
Seriosuly, he went from calling me cute to treating me like dirt in a matter of minutes.
I quickly chased behind him, following him closely in to the place.
From the outside, it looked like some sort of church-social club, where old people gather to play bingo or cards. But on the inside, it was a completely different place. It looked amazing, with modern speakers and lights, and a huge buffet table lying along the wall.
"Ash!" Someone yelled, making him raise his head and smirk.
He walked off, leaving me stood on my own, or I thought he did until he let out a huge sigh, turned around then lifted his arm, gesturing for me to join him.
"What?" I questioned, wondering why he'd let me follow him after making it seem like he hated me.
"You coming or not?"
I nodded, then rushed over to his side, letting him walk slightly infront as we approached a group of guys.
"Calum, Luke, and Michael, this is Jessica." He bluntly introduced, stepping aside for me to shake hands with each of them.
"Hey." They each said in turn, until I reached the blonde one, Luke I think. He grabbed my hand, and pulled it to his lips, placing a gentle kiss on my knuckles. "Great to meet you."
oh. Oh. OH.
"Watch out, she's Ashton's girl." Calum (?) mocked, recieving a glare from both me and Ashton.
"Yeah, pay attention to bro code!" Michael joined in, making me sigh slightly.
"Shut it. She's not my girl. Got it?" He said, in clear disgust. Was there any need to be that rude?!
"Who is she then?" Calum questioned, clearly not believing him.
"She's living with us, our Mums are friends. She's probably got a guy at home anyway." He shrugged. I didn't. Id actually never had a boyfriend.
"Why doesn't she just live at home then?" Calum quizzed, he was very nosy.
"She's from England." He explained, before I realised I hadn't spoke for them to pick up on my accent.
"England? That's awesome!" Michael exclaimed, with Calum nodding in agreement.
"Yeah." I shyly giggled, even though England was in no way awesome.

The music was way too loud, making it difficult to hear anything else. I was sat down at the table, messing around with my fork as I blankly stared down at the White table cloth. I lifted my gaze to the dance floor, where I saw lots of adults cringily dancing, then passed the crowd until I saw Calum, Michael and Ashton being idiots in the corner.
Where was Luke?"Jessica!" Someone yelled over the music from behind me. I jumped in my place, then turned around to see Luke smiling down at me.
"Want to dance?" He asked, raising his eyebrows then offering me his hand. I took it, then followed him to the centre of the dance floor, and let me say, I was lucky it was dark. I was probably bright red.
He began to spin me around, laughing and joking the whole time, occassionally biting down on his black lip ring. Why was I paying so much attention to him?
"Luke! Stop!" I shrieked, as he almost dropped me mid dance move.
"It was an acci-"
"I hate to ruin your... fun? But I'm going home, and I kind of have to drive Jessica back too."
We broke apart then looked up at who cut off Luke. Ashton.
"I'll drive her later." Luke smirked, stepping closer to me again.
"Jessica?" Ashton said, crossing his arms.
"Uh- I'd better go. I'm kinda tired from my flight. " I shrugged, saying goodbye to a dissapointed Luke and following Ashton again.
He waited until we got in to the car, when he turned to face me. "So, Luke, huh?"
"What?" I questioned, knowing what he was implying but wanting to be sure.
"You like him. Dont you?"
"What? No!" I denied, truthfully, to be honest, I'd probably end up telling him accidentally if I did.
"You sure? You looked pretty close to me." He smirked, winding me up.
"No, I dont just start liking people after knowing them two hours, okay?"
"Whatever." He laughed, starting the car and ending the topic there.
