Chapter 5

I woke up when the sun started shining in through my window. I yawned and stretched before looking at my clock to see what the time was. It read that it was 8:40 am in the morning. I got out of bed and I went to my bathroom and got ready. After I got ready in the bathroom, I walked back into my room and put on the clothes I picked out last night.

Once I got dressed, I put my hair up in a ponytail and grabbed my little black purse and put my phone inside. I then walked downstairs and saw my mom in the kitchen. That meant dad had already left for work. I sat down at the table and mom placed plate of bacon and eggs in front of me.

"Naruto and Hinata are picking me up at 9:15, and Naruto asked if it was ok if Hinata could come and I said it was ok because I've been wanting to know if they were doing good." I told her.

"That's nice, make sure you three stay together and have fun." she said.

"We will." I said and I started eating my breakfast.

After I ate, mom grabbed my plate and started washing it. After a few minutes, there was a knock at the door. I got up and opened the door and there Naruto and Hinata stood in the doorway. I hugged both of them, "it's been a while since I've last seen you two." I said as I hugged them.

"Yeah it has." Naruto said after I broke the hug.

"We've been wanting to come over, but we just got so busy and we haven't had the time." Hinata said.

That's when mom appeared behind me, "oh it's no trouble at all, we've also been very busy, I'm just glad you took some time to hang out with your little sister. It's so good to see you again Naruto, Hinata." mom said as she hugged each of them.

"It's good seeing you too mom, but we gotta go, lots do and so little time." he said with a goofy smile. Hinata and I giggled at this.

Mom kissed each of us goodbye and we walked to Naruto's car and got into the car. Naruto then drove off and headed to one of our favorite hangouts. We went to the malt shop and Naruto parked the car. I remember when I came here with Naruto when he was friends with Sakura and Sasuke. I wonder if they're together or not?

We got a booth and we ordered some milkshakes. After ordering, we started talking. "So how is it living together?" I asked Naruto.

"It's good, I really like living with Hinata, she so sweet and quiet and cute." he said with a smile. Hinata blushed at his words and I smiled.

"We're actually thinking about getting married sometime this year, and you and mom and dad are already invited." Hinata said.

"Oh my god, mom and dad will be so overjoyed that they will be crying with happiness." I said with a laugh. Naruto laughed as well. We continued to talk until our milkshakes arrived. After getting our milkshakes, we continued to talk.
