"Really? Bout' what?" He asked. Ryan looked so hopeful.

"You know how I said if I got over Jake I might go out with you? Well, I don't think I'm ever going to be over him...I think he's really a great guy, and I want to see if our relationship works again...Are you cool with that?" I tried..

"You know what Serenity? I will never be cool with that. Go ahead and date him. Just know, even though I've only known you for about two days, I want you to know the pain I go through when I see you and him together. Especially this morning when he walked out of your bedroom. Think about that ok?" He walked  off without a glance back.

"I still have to show you around!" I called to him. All I got from him was a peace sign over his shoulder.

"Ooh! Who was that?" Said Riley as she walked up to me. Well, more like sprinted. "Hes totaly cute!"

"Just a friend.." I didn't really feel like talking right now. I poured it all out to Riley anyway. "He moved here from...I forgot..And now he's living with us and his four other brothers. I started dating Jake again and then Ryan got mad and..." I trailed off.

"It'll be okay.." She patted me on the back.

"Whats wrong?" I heard Dylan walk up behind me.

"I need a hug," I mumbled. Dylan wrapped his arms around me.

"Um..Boy problems," Riley said to Dylan. Dylan released me and suddenly my world went dark again.

"I know exactly what to do." Dylan reached into his backpack and pulled out a Hershey's bar.

"CHOCALATE!!!" I Almost-yelled. I grabbed the bar an ripped it open.

"Better?" Dyl asked. I nodded my head eagerly. R-r-r-ing! The bell sounded an was followed by the sound a hundreds of feet shuffling towards homeroom. All of a sudden I felt a tap on my shoulder. I was met with Jake's warm brown eyes. He wrapped his arms around my waist.

"So guess what?! I got a chance for something I couldn't pass up! I have all my classes with you except fifth period!" He smiled. So thats were he had been this morning. I layed my head on his shoulder and we continued on. As we walked into the classroom I spotted someone I did not want to see. Ryan. His eyes searched the room looking for somebody and his eyes landed on me. He immediately looked away. It must've been hard for him seeing Jake with his arms around me.

Jake didn't seem to notice. He led me to the seat next to Ryan. The teacher, Ms. Harrison, walks in and the class imeddiately shuts up. Mrs. Harrison is the strictest teacher in schhol. Shes like, 85 years old, but she has ears like a hawk. She catches you doing something, the consequence is cruel. About halfway through,  I looked down to find a note on my desk. I opened it and Read that it was from Ryan.

Hey two-timer. You just had to sit next to me, didn't you?

I glared at him and scribbled down,

First of all, I am no two timer. I told you about Jake, didn't I? And it was Jake's choice where to sit. He just so happen to choose right here!

I tossed it to him and thankfully, Ms. Harrison didn't see. He read it over, twice, three times the charm. He looked over at me and rolled his eyes. The whole rest of the lesson was a drag. So was school, with the occasional Dylan to give me a hug and Wes and Tristan to pick on me, but they're still my brothers. Finaly lunch was here. We all sat together, Me, Riley, my brothers, and the Smith boys. Even Ryan. I guess he had nowhere else to sit anyways.I avoided eye contact the whole lunch. I wasn't even hungry for my burger. But thankfully I had Dylans' arm slung around me and Jake was holding my hand under the table.
