"Alright..... NOW!"

Naruto jumped on the cat, which in return clawed at his face.

"AHHHHHH GET TI OFF ME!!!" Naruto screamed. Chiba helped Naruto get the cat off his face.

"Good job team. Mission success." Kakashi said with his hands in his pockets. " Let's report back to Hokage-sama"

Hokage office~~~~

"Ooooooh Tora you don't know how much I missed you!" A chubby lady lady exclaimed while literally squeezing the cat to death.

"Gee no wonder it ran away" Sakura muttered, Chiba and Sasuke nodded in agreement.

"HAHAHA! That's what you get you stupid cat!" Naruto laughed at the cat who hissed in reply.

After that, Hiruzen tried to give more d-rank missions, but he was cut off by Naruto.

"No Jiji! No D-rank missions!" Naruto yelled. " We've been doing that all day! I want to do a real mission!"

"Hn" Sasuke grunted in agreement.

"Your only genin! You should start off with simple D-rank missions!" Iruka shouted at Naruto.

"Ano.... With all do respect dad, I think a higher ranked mission would be good. You know to see how much we've grown" Chiba said nervously. He shifted under his father's thoughtful gaze.

"I guess your right. I will give you a c-rank mission. A simple escort mission will do" Hiruzen said after some time.

"But Hokage-sama!" Iruka yelled surprised.

"Iruka this is my decision." Hiruzen said sternly but calmly.

"YAY! Who are we protecting?! A princess or maybe some powerful noble!" Naruto wondered aloud.

"No Naruto, Here he's coming in" Hiruzen told the over excited boy.

Then in walked the last person someone would want to protect: A stinkin' drunk.

"What!? A bunch of Kids are gonna protect me!? And whose the short one with the idiotic look on his face?" the drunk asked.

"Hey! Who's the short one with an Idioti-" Naruto stopped short of his sentenced and processed the information. Sasuke was the tallest, then next was Chiba, then Sakura, last was Naruto.

"HEY! I'm not that short! Believe it!" Naruto yelled trying to attack the drunk.

"Look, I'm a jonin. And these students are all capable of defending you" Kakashi said, holding Naruto back. "And Naruto you can't attack the person we are supposed to protect."

"Anyway, My names Tazuna. I am a master bridge builder from the land of the waves. I need you to protect me from robbers and such till I finish the bridge." Tazuna said after a sigh and a drink from his Sake bottle.

"Ok you 5. Go home and pack and meet in about 1hr." Hiruzen ordered. All the ninja-except Chiba- went home to pack. Chiba walked through the estate to his room and pack.

"So cool! I never been outside the village before! Believe it!" Naruto exclaimed at the village gate. They were preparing to leave the village on their very first mission, unaware of the dangers that Lie ahead.

"Let's go! Believe it!" Naruto yelled as they walked out the gate.

'This was gonna be a long mission'
