At dinner, with Scorpius, I decided I'd tell Scorpius how me and y/n are officially dating now which he won't take well I know that
"Scorp I need to talk to you," I say and Scorpius looks up his mouth covered in sauce from dinner
"Oh yeah? What's up dad?" He asks wiping his face
"Now don't get angry ok," I say and Scorpius looked confused and started thinking exactly what I was about to tell him
"Depends what it is," Scorpius says and I sigh
"Ok well, I'm dating y/n now," I say and Scorpius looked extremely angry
"No you're not," Scorpius says and I sigh
"Scorpius I am, and I know you don't like I'm seeing her, but I haven't felt this happy around someone since before your mother died," I say and Scorpius stopped looking conflicted and confused
He obviously didn't wanna accept it but also just wanted to see me happy
"Can't you find someone that I haven't dated please, there has to be a 43-year-old woman who you can fall in love with right?" Scorpius says and I sigh
"Scorpius I'm dating y/n," I say and Scorpius just finished his food quickly then walked to his room
And I sigh as I just eat slowly, and honestly, I didn't wanna fall in love with my son's ex but I did, and honestly, I told myself I'd never love anyone again after well Astoria died, I didn't wanna fall in love with anyone after her death I was fine with just being single until I died, and could be with Astoria again
'Honestly the day I hooked up with y/n, the next morning I was thinking how I didn't wanna fall for her I wanted it to be a one-time thing, but seeing her beside me made me change my mind, I felt feelings I hadn't in years feelings I thought died with Astoria, but suddenly I was feeling them towards y/n and I don't think they are going anywhere soon.'
