The boys giggled and ran off again. Mina and Kiri following them. The man that stood before me moved closer. I slowly leaned back getting ready to run. He noticed and squatted down on the ground.

"No please don't run it's me I promise."

He went to touch my leg. I quickly moved my leg out of his reach.

"I-I watched you die."

"Y/n you really think something like that will take me down?"

"I-."

"Y/n please come back to me. Mother and Yo have told me that you're a little out of it. Vasuki has said how much of a good mother you are even with everything going on. If you need proof I have every scar to prove it."

I watched as he sat down more on the ground. He has a brace made of sticks on his arm. He took off his cape and showed me two bite marks on his neck that have scarred over. Both from when I was to emotional to fully understand my actions. He showed most of his scars but he saved one for last. The first bite mark he has gotten from me. On his four arm. When I saw it I sat up slowly and got closer to him and touched the scar.

"But the the the e-explosion and and t-the mountain."

"That was my fault. I was about to die and I wasn't go to go out like that and live you and my.......no our son alone. The explosion was a spell I have been working on with the hag. All the past Great Kings can use it properly. See look."

He held out his hand and small little fire work started to pop in his hands. My eyes let up at the sight. I looked back up at him. Completely forgetting where we are and who was around. I looked into his red eyes as he smirked at me.

"I made a promise and nothing is going to keep me from it until we are Properly King and Queen. Forever stuck with each other until death."

"Katsuki I-."

"Hey leave him alone!"

I was snapped out of my thoughts by Keyos voice.

"No this is shit! I am the only one who gets party's around here!"

Me and Katsuki looked around until I found Keyo yelling at a much taller kid with yellow blonde hair. I looked behind him and Vasuki is on the ground holding his cheek. Of course I forgot about the conversation we were having and got up and ran over to him as fast I could. I pushed the older boy out the way and got to Vasuki.

"Vasuki are you ok what happened let me see baby."

Vasuki started to cry and everyone around stopped dancing and the music stopped. Keyo and Katsuki then came over to see what happened. Same with a few of our dragons including Kiri and Mina. Concerned for their future King. I moved his hand off his cheek and there is a scratch from the slap and it's bleeding. I looked at Katsuki who looked even more angry then me. He looked at Keyo and tried to keep calm.

"Keyo what happened?"

"That guy right there on the ground. He walked up to us and he seemed mad. He said because we came back we ruined what he had. I tried to stop him but he pushed me down and got to Vasuki. I'm sorry I didn't protect him."

"Keyo it's ok. Things happen that you can't always protect him from ok? Are you hurt as well?"
