I sat in a chair in front of a fireplace as Mitsuki did my hair. It's been almost two months now and Katsuki insisted that we marry before I do anything risky. So I insisted that everything was traditional all the way to us staying in a big tent outside instead of a castle.
"I appreciate you keeping our traditions Y/n. It's nice to know someone hasn't forgotten about our history." Mitsuki said as she braided my hair.
"Of course but I'm not only doing that. I'll get our home back and It'll be better then it was. Today honestly we are combining houses and I'll make everything right." I explained to her and she giggled.
"Just like your grandmother so determined to make everyone happy. How about you focus on yourself it is your wedding day. Masaru my husband does have a very important question for you he will come later to ask." She said and I nodded.
"Of course." I said and let her continue.
Bakugo's POV
I sighed looking in the mirror as Kiri and my father looked at some of the traditional beads and other things that my Aunt has kept.
"She has them all son and your mother checked and she has them for her as well." My father said and I turned to look at him. Kiri laid out on my bed eating something.
"Ha his nervous." Kiri laughed at me and my father chuckled.
"Hey!"I yelled at them.
"It's fine son. I was nervous marrying your mother but at the time your mother was scary. Won two battles in the war almost by herself. Her and her dragon were unstoppable." He said gazing at the floor lovingly as he remembered. I sighed and looked away about to ask something stupid.
"Father." I said crossing my arms and looked at my crown.
"Yes." He said and I sighed.
"Do you think we will end up like you and mom?" I asked.
"Like me and mom?" He said not understanding.
"You two would die for each other your love is so strong. Do think we could be like that?" I said softly still looking at the crown.
"Well son her mind works differently now. She thinks you're dead not only with her mind but her soul also. You're going to have to win her back. Then maybe you will." He said and I sighed frustrated.
"Katsuki you need to understand that she's angry. Her family hated her, her mother died not long after she left, her sister destroyed her new home and forced you to marry someone else and to top it she thinks you died. She's angry and she needs a outlet I think you can understand uncontrollable rage." My father explained and I nodded.
"Yeah I know." I said.
"Now let's get you ready." He said.

"Isn't this a little much for you guys?" I asked her and she sighed.
"Yes actually. Unfortunately my sister wants to keep her original dress for her sons future wife so I had this made for you a few days ago. Vampires always had red on especially when getting married the white really makes it pop." She explained and I just nodded.
"You don't seem very excited." She said and I sighed.
"That's because I'm not." I said and she walked in front of me.
"Why's that dear?" She asked putting on some of the traditional beads.
"I just well in my head he's still dead. It's like I'm marrying someone I don't know." I said and I looked at her tears in my eyes.
"I don't want to think that way but I just do. I love him I do deep down and I should be happy but I'm not." I cried as she looked at me sadly. She cupped my cheeks.
"Everything will be ok." She said and hugged me gently.
"You just need a break from the war which I know is hard to do." She said and I sighed.
"You will feel differently eventually." She said and I nodded.
"Now have a look at yourself." She said and brought me over to the mirror.
"Don't you look beautiful." She said and I smiled.
"Yes I do thank you." I said and someone came in.
"Ah Masaru is everything ready?" She asked him and he nodded.
"Yes the bonfire has been lit and Katsuki is already on his way there. Vasuki and Keyo are accompanying him there. Kiri will be with them the whole time." He said and she walk to the bed grabbing the red cloak that they all have. She placed it on my shoulders. She backed away and Masaru stepped forward.
"Princess if you would like I would be honored to give you away to my son in replacement of your father. If you would let me." He said and I looked at him. I then smiled at him.
"I'd love that." I said and he smiled. He held a hand out and I took it.
"Let's go."
We walked through the castle and outside. Mitsuki ran down the stairs and down the long line of people and stood next to Katsuki. He handed her some beads and a cloth.
His father walked me down the line of people to Katsuki. When we got to him he gave my hand to him. I stood in front of Katsuki and I just looked down not wanting to look him in the eye. I let go of his hand holding my own in front of me.
"People of Khisfire we are here today to unite our King and Queen." Mitsuki announced and everyone cheered.
"Now please interlock your arms." She said and we grabbed each others forearm. She wrapped just the beads around our hands.
"Do you both promise to watch over and take care of your people as one for as long as you may live?" She said I looked at him.
"I do." We said at the same time.
"Do you Y/n promise to love and support and take care of the King when needed." She asked me and I sighed.
"I do." I said.
"Do you Katsuki promise to love and support and take care of the Queen when needed." She asked him.
"I do." He said.
"Now it's time to see if this is meant to be." She said and wrapped the cloth around our hands.
"If it burns then it's meant to be by the gods if not then this marriage will not be true." She said and grabbed a stick from the fire. We watched as the flames touched the cloth.
A part of me wished it wouldn't burn. So when it did my heart sank a little. Everyone cheered and Mitsuki took the beads off and we walked down the line of people to the castle.
