CHAPTER 6 - Vincent's POV

”What happened?”

That's what he asked. It was the same thing if I'd just tell the truth, not only that dream I saw. But it doubted me, should I tell? I wasn't sure, if he didn't even really care?

”I...” I started, but I didn't say anything more for a while. I wasn't sure should I tell, it wasn't even so exciting or special, so why did he want to know?

”I...”

I was cut by loud knocking on the door. I turned my head at door and saw Scott jumping up from the couch.

”Who's coming at this time”, he mumbled quietly - he was right, it was almost 11:00 PM, so I thought no one would come at this time. But it seems like I was wrong.

Scott opened the door and I saw Mike there.

”Hiya”, he said cheerfully and came inside as Scott let him in, some other guy came too. I looked at that other boy, soon I realized he was Jeremy. Yes, I knew him from security, but Mike was almost random guy.

”Jeremy wanted to see Vincent, too”, Mike said and glanced at me. Jeremy came at me, he was shorter than I remembered. He just looked at me for a while with his chocolate brown eyes, I stared him back with my violet eyes.

”Hey---” I started to say, but suddenly he hugged me, which startled me and I felt like I'd jump three meters up, but I didn't. I nervously glanced at Scott, then Mike, they were just watching and smiling. Then I looked at Jeremy, actually I saw only his hair, he had printed his face against my chest.

”Jeremy?” I asked a little nervously, but he didn't let go.

”It's just nice they let you go”, he said against my chest and then let go and turned at Mike.

”Geez, Jeremy, are ya cheating me?” Mike asked like he was miffed about Jeremy hugging me and crossed his arms.

”Cheating?” I asked and glanced at Jeremy, who just smiled, ”No, I'm not, I just hugged him. You hug Scott usually too.”

Were they dating or something? I glanced at Scott, he just chuckled a little and walked towards me.

”Yeah, they're together”, Scott whispered as he was next to me. Well that was cute. I raised my look at Scott - yes, he was few centimeters taller than me - and looked at him for a while.

”...what are they doing here, by the way?” I asked and his look turned at me.

”I dont know. ...”

”Oh, okay”, I said and turned my look at Jeremy and Mike, they were just talking there. I was a bit tired, but it didn't bother me.

”Oh, that's right”, Mike said and turned his look at Scott and me, ”we just wanted to welcome Vincent back. ...or Jeremy wanted”, he thought. Well, it was okay that even someone was glad I was... ”back”? Or something.

”It's nothing”, Scott said and smiled, ”would you like to stay longer or something?”

”No, no, we're not gonna bother ya anymore, we'll go home”, Mike smiled and waved his hand a little, Jeremy did that too and smiled nervously.

”See ya sometime”, Mike said and Jeremy nodded as they went out. Scott closed the door and sighed a little, smiling.

”That was unexpected”, he said and turned at me, ”we should get some sleep, too”, he said.

”Yeah.. but where am I going to sleep?” I asked and tilted my head a little to left.

”Well, you can sleep with me or at the couch or somewhere---” he started and I nodded a little as I cut him saying quickly, ”I'll sleep at the couch, thanks.”
I wasn't ready to sleep with him, though it didn't mean anything, eh.
