Chapter 8: Fun Times

Izuku pov

"So where do you wanna go?" Ochako asks me as we walk toward the city.

"Well I wanna show you something." I say with a smirk on my face.

I never told her that with my quirk we can defy gravity, we could walk up buildings and stuff and that's exactly what we're gonna do.

"What is it?" She asks with a curious look.

"Just wait, we'll go to the city and go to the top of the largest building, doesn't that sound fun?" I say looking at her with a toothy grin.

She giggles and nods.

"I guess so." She says still nodding.

We walk to the city and look around.

"I haven't been here since dad took me like 5 years ago while he was recovering from an injury." She says looking at a street sign.

"Ive been here a few times in middle school but not in the last 10 months because of the training." I say yawning.

"Anyways wanna go to the top of that building now?" I say pointing to the building.

She nods and we walk to the front of the building.

"Ugh stairs..." She sighs.

"What about them?" I ask looking over to her.

"Well..." she starts blushing.

She puts her arms around her chest area.

I got the hint.

"Luckily we don't need stairs." I say jumping onto the side of the building.

She looks at me like i just unlocked another quirk.

"I forgot to tell you, our gravity is different here because yknow time is stopped and stuff." I say lying right through my teeth.

"You planned this didn't you." She says with a giggle.

"Yup!" I respond confidently.

She jumps up and we start walking up the building.

"So you do this often?" She asks walking closer to me.

"Not much but in America I did it a bit, once I went to the top of the Empire State Building, it was a nice ass view." I say remembering the fun experience.

She nods a bit.

"That's amazing, so you trained in New York City?" She asks looking at me.

"Well like 25 minutes away but that's where I did most of my vigilante work." I say before slapping my hand on my mouth.

"Vigilante work?" She says concerned.

"Well uh yeah...I needed to learn to use my quirk for long amounts of time so stopping time would be a waste of time if I didn't save anyone you know..." I say backing up my claim.

"So you only did it when time was stopped?" She asks.

"Well a few times I acted on impulse but I stopped time so it just looked like a boy saved someone but disappeared right after Yknow." I say putting my hands behind my head.

"I get it, well at least you could feel like a hero." She says laughing.

I see her turn around and panic a bit. I put my hand on her cheek and make her look at me, she blushes.

"Don't look down, trust me you might not be able to fall but I was frozen in fear for 30 minutes once, not fun knowing times running out." I say smiling and slightly laughing.
