planes, flying, air travel. yeah, those weren't exactly his favorite things.

sapnap would rather drive the extra hours than having to ride on an air plane, so why is he standing waiting to board, walking down that long hallway? that long, long hallway where the gap in the floor leads to the inside of the plane, releasing the same smell of chemicals and old people into his nose; that he's always hated.

he has no fucking idea why or how he ended up here. "try new things" they said, "meet new people" they said.

but why the hell is he listening? maybe its because he can't say no or he just has to prove someone wrong, like always. but he wouldn't admit that out-loud.

he'd really like to text someone, anyone and tell them those things, but why the hell is he so nervous? its not like the plane is going to crash. planes were safer than cars according to his mom who told him that when he was like nine. right?

of course planes are safe, millions of people ride on planes everyday, so he shouldn't be scared.

maybe he should call dream? he doesn't know, dream is the one who told him to get out there in the first place. dream's the reason he is doing this in the first place, he's doing it for him. thinking about that calms his mind a bit. its only about a two hour flight from texas to florida, its really not that bad when he thinks about it.

even if the thoughts of crashing and falling a hundred feet from of the sky are very unsettling there is no going back now. with a heavy backpack on his back he walks down the isle and can see his seat, a15. the perfect seat, the isle so he doesn't have to look out the window and can use the bathroom or escape from crying babies without having to crawl over someone.

sapnap got to his seat, sliding his backpack under in front of him and buckling his seatbelt and tried to relax. there were so many people entering the plane, just another thing he would have to worry about.

two hours he could make it. he could totally make it.

which is what he thought before he saw him. tall, blonde, and staring right at him. nothing could possibly go wrong, yeah absolutely nothing. so why was he walking towards sapnap.

he just sat there dumbfounded staring at the blonde stranger- who happened to still be staring right at him.

staring because he was now right in front of him.

sapnap must not have heard him the first time because he was just staring. nothing but staring.

"could you get up for a sec? i sit beside you." the blonde man said smiling, or what sapnap thought was smiling he was still kinda staring at the strangers icy blue eyes.

"oh uhm, sure" sapnap said quietly, getting up quickly then sitting back down. the stranger did the same thing sapnap did, pushed his gray backpack under the seat in front of him then buckled his seatbelt.

two hours might be longer than he thought.
