Tw self harm
(Y/N)'s POV
"Yes, I'll be there in a week. Thank you for this opportunity!" I peek through the kitchen as my dad talks through the phone. "Yeah, thank you again. Goodbye." He hangs up. "(M/N), we're moving to Tokyo!" "What?!" "Yeah, I got a promotion, but we have to move to Tokyo." "And you didn't consider asking me first?! Thank god we're on vacations and (Y/N) graduated already cause if not you'd be going by yourself!" "R-right!""So, we're going to Tokyo now?" I sigh as I go to my room with a glass of milk/juice. I watch the volleyball next to my bed. "Stupid school." I hear my mom open the door.
"Are you mad?" "I don't really care, it'll just be annoying to change schools." I scrunch my nose in annoyance. "Come on, it can't be that bad. Look, you can get new friends and you can join the volleyball club, or you can finally be the best student of the class, and maybe get a boyfriend or something." "I do not have interest in such stuff, and I don't have a chance at being the best student as long as (worst subject) exists."
"You'll see, you'll catch interest when you hear that song." "Come on, I'm fifteen. I'll probably never hear any song." "But maybe you will, try to be positive!" She leaves.
"As if anyone would love someone like me, after all... I'm me." I stand up to take a shower. I get out and look at myself in the mirror. "Why me? Why not someone else? Don't they get it? It's not that I don't want friends, but it hurts. I used to have so many friends, but they hate me." I let out a chuckle as tears fall down my cheeks.
"That's funny... I hate me, too." I look at the razor on the sink. "Mom would be so disappointed if she knew." I take hold of it as I press it on the skin on my shoulder. "Good thing she doesn't." I slide it and watch as blood starts leaving the cut. "You said you'd stop, you're such a disappointment." I look at myself on the mirror. "I wish a lightning would just hit me."
I put on my clothes after cleaning the extra blood sipping through the cuts. "Idiot, you're lucky you brought a black shirt. One day she'll notice the blood on your clothes." I sigh at my reflection. "This is why she says you ruin all the fun."
I get out of the bathroom, and make myself a cereal. I lay down. "It hurts, everything hurts. The cuts, the cold, the loneliness, that bang on my chest. Well, at least I know I'm human and I haven't turned into the monster they saw on me. The monster I too see."
I watch as the moving truck takes our stuff away. "Are you ready (Y/N)?" "No." "What?" "No." "We're both excited, why do you have to ruin it?" I look down, I put a smile on my face. "I'm super ready! I'm gonna make so many friends!" I lift my arm jumping. "That's what I wanted to hear!" They smile as we get in the car.
That stupid smile you put up, (Y/N). They must be fucking blind if they haven't noticed how ugly and fake it is. Shut up. They probably hate you. I know that, everyone does. I'm sure someone in this universe must like you, they just need to be born. No one will like me. Times change, who knows? But when you were here we all hated you. So probably not. I hated me, too. It was all my fault. I'm scared of myself, of what I can do. But I'm scared of getting hurt, and it's your fault.
I fall asleep. "Wake up, we're here." I open my eyes to see our new house.
"Ugh, first day of school. I mean- Yay first day of school I'm so excited!" I sigh as I put on the uniform. "Try more, hehe I'm so excited for the first day, I'm a bit nervous, what if I get lost?! But it'll be so fun to get to know new people!"
I walk to school until I crash into a tree. "Ugh, why would they put a tree in the middle of nowhere?!" I scrunch my nose as I rub it. "Are you okay?" I look up to see the tree not being a tree.
"You are not a tree." I look at the guy in shock. "I'm pretty sure I am not." "You're a giant!" "Hey! That's rude!" "Uhh, right, sorry." I bow and continue walking.
"You go to nekoma, right?" He looks at me smiling. "Yeah, why do you ask?" "Your uniform." "Oh." "What grade are you in?" I smile at him. "First, you're a third year?" "First."
I look at him in shock. "I'm not believing that! Did you fail a year?!" "Almost, but no." "So you're fifteen?!" "Yes." "But you're a fucking tree!" "Language." "How are you so tall?!" He chuckles. "Genes." I get on my tippie toes and jump.
I give up after some tries. "What's your name?" "Lev, Lev Haiba. I'm half Russian." "That explains your height. I'm (Y/N) (L/N)." "Look at that, we're already here." "Ehh? Time flies." I smile. "Do you know where class 1-3 is?" "Mmm, not really. I'm in 1-4, we're probably close though."
We walk to the classrooms. "This is my class, that means yours is probably that one." I point to my left. "Right, thank you." He smiles and I watch as some girls blush. He walks away.
Tch, my cheeks are tired from smiling. Maybe we could get along with him. Maybe... let's give it a go, (Y/N). Although we might drag attention to ourselves since girls seem to like him. That's probably right.
I go inside and go to a sit in the back. "We're gonna go to a welcome event at the auditorium. You'll also choose any clubs you wish to join."
