The Date

Yoongi let out a chuckle as he felt heat on his shoulder where Namjoon was. He wondered if it was his normal body temperature or him blushing.

"You're comfy.." Namjoon mumbled against Yoongi's shoulder. Yoongi put a small kiss on Namjoon's head.

Butterflies. Namjoon sworn if a doctor were to do an x-ray on his tummy it would be filled with butterflies. God Yoongi just made him feel....so special.

"Well uh, the restaurant said it might be around 25 minutes to get food. Are you okay with-"

Namjoon flushed a deep red when his tummy let out a grumble.

Yoongi let out a snort. Namjoon lightly smacked him.

"Shut up!"

"Okay cupcake."

Yoongi watched as more people filled the restaurant and sighed before an idea clicked in his head.

"I have another place. But let me get some things for and you can stay in the car the entire time okay?"

Namjoon nodded. He could wait years for Yoongi and wouldn't care.

Yoongi pulled out from the parking lot and drove to a hardware store.

"Stay here."

Namjoon nodded and then rested his head on his hand watching Yoongi run.

"I wish I could remember you.." namjoon though before staring at the moon that shimmered above him. He smiled

Yoongi rushed to grab some lights, cables, blankets, and snacks in the small store. Luckily for him the store wasn't really a hardware store but more of a mix, like a mini mall.

He paid for everything and rushed outside hiding the objects behind his back hoping he didnt take too long.

Opening the trunk he could see Namjoon's silhouette staring up to Moon and smiled. He used to do that all the time, in his studio he had a small window and when he was stressed or nervouse about something he would just watch the moon.

How fascinating how simple piece of rock in the sky calm you down as the stars twinkle around you.

A dream really.

Yoongi hopped into the front seat.

"Did I take too long?"

Namjoon turned to him nodding his head no.

Yoongi smiled before turning on the radio and starting the car.

"The adults are talking" began to play. Yoongi smiled. This song made him feel happy.

Trees flew by them. Lights shined above them. It felt so surreal.

The music gently played in the background as Namjoon smiled. He began to like the song too.

Soon the car stopped. Yoongi turned to Namjoon.

"Give me a few minutes!" He said quickly jumping out of the car.

Namjoon let out a laugh. He didnt know if he could possibly love Yoongi more than he already did. This boy really drove him crazy.

Yoongi grabbed all his things rushing toward the mini forest. There was spot where the trees alighting turned in, and a log laid in the middle. Flowers all around and water the slowly swayed back and forth like an old swing.

Yoongi placed blankets on the field and threw lights into the trees, more specifically fairy lights and they began to twinkle as he connected them to the portable cable.

He placed the food down and made a small pout. It definitely wasn't the best but he hoped Namjoon liked it. If anything they can sit on the car if it's too uncomfy.

Yoongi walked back to the car and grabbed Namjoons arm dragging him to the place.

Namjoon was in awe. The lights were so beatiful, it lit up the place and you could see the flowers and the water.

"You did this?" Namjoon whispered as he walked toward the lights.

Yoongi smiled following behind.

"For you."

Namjoon sat on the small blanket below him.

Yoongi sat beside him.

"I got us some snacks, I hope you don't mind."

Namjoon smiled.

"No, its perfect." He grabbed a small bag of crackers and began to munch on them staring at the moon.

"Do you remember this place?"

Namjoon turned to Yoongi and let small frown.

"No...was it really important?"

Yoongi gently caressed Namjoon's cheek.

"Its okay, it's where you and I used to go almost everyday just to talk. About life and music... we would sit here for hours just talking. When I think of here or come here all I can think about is you."

Yoongi turned to Namjoon.

"You make me so happy Namjoon."

Namjoon felt tears as he saw Yoongi tearing up.

"You make me so happy too Yoongi."

They both smiled and leaned in. Namjoon felt sparkles as their lips connected. Yoongi also felt it. They both backed up smiling. Holding hands.

Finally. They both got their happily every after. And this time...Namjoon won't forget.
