You and the head butler were speaking on terms and agreement "if you make the king upset he either may kill you, punish you, or just plainly fire you" he said in boredom and you replied calmly "ok, is that all?" he froze a bit before continuing
"Your duties will be to attend to the king beside me" he continues using natural hand gestures causing you to watch his hands more than his face "Miss Y/n I will be showing you to your room later, the master wishes to see you first" he speaks and you nodded following closely behind him
only speaking just a few words left the head butler a bit shocked, only halfway there, the butler snuck in a couple of glances observing you and you caught him and admired his stitches "how rude of me, my name is Y/n" your face held a kind smile and his face was left stoic "you may call me Mahito" he finally spoke after a long pause
we stopped at door and he knocks three times "we've arrived master" after waiting for a minute or two Mahito finally opened the door and you rolled your eyes walking inside the large room with your head down and Mahito scanning the room to find the king still in bed
"my lord may I ask why are you not up", Mahito questioned
"I was having some morning fun," he says as you watch the two young women scurry out the room in embarrassment and you flashed a face of disgust before returning to your previous expression
"At least we know you're healthy, this is the maid I scouted to work beside me" Mahito introduced you to the cruel man and he stares at you for a moment and you kept your eyes on Mahito instead
He gets up from the bed and goes to sit on the couch that sits in the middle of his room "please sit" the way he said almost caused you to have shivers but following after Mahito you stood beside him
"That's against the world-known rule my king" you spoke with such elegance Mahito could've sworn you were a commoner when he took you away
"But I'm the king, you listen to me now" he had a vein poking out from his forehead "but my king-" not wanted to anger him even more, you sat down but kept your head down
"I apologize my king" was all you said before he chuckled, with your eyes closed you could hear him snap his fingers, and a few moments after you could feel someone's hand under your chin lifting it up
It was Mahito, restraining you from moving your head any longer "I like it when women keep eye contact" Sukuna the king of all curses smirked "I apologize my king" he kept admiring you as Mahito held your chin firmly all the while smirking aswell
"you sure seem quite alluring, have you been bedded yet?" your body froze up grabbing Mahito's wrist "no Sire" he looked you up and down for a while and got up "let's keep it that way yea?" he went back to the bed "sire, the day has started-" he was cut off by Sukuna "I don't care I'm tired"
Mahito bowed still holding your chin and walking out, You tripped a couple of times going into the hallway "Uh Mahito sir could you unhand me please" you whimpered and he looked at you
"you are a quite pretty little thing" was all he said as he let you go and continued his duties having you on his mind the whole day AFTER leading you to your room
I don't know how to feel about this first chapter but yea <3
