as you arrived at a village you've seen tons of cursed guards, securing the entrances of the village, you've grown nervous and decided to pull your hood over your head and kept your head down heading into the village with ease only halted for your goals entering the village
The guards side-eye each other before letting you through, you thought nothing of it and decided to take a walk around ending up into the market and watching kids play on the sidelines reminded you of the "little boy" you took care of who was smart and helpful
"miss!" someone shouted for you and you didn't realize until someone tugged on your coat causing you to turn around not seeing no one at eye level instinctively you look down towards the short female with a cute commoner dress on with little bows in her hair
"Hello miss," she greeted you and you waved "hello little lady" you reply, she began playing with her hands and forgetting with her fingers "I just wanted to say you are very pretty!" she complimented you taking you by surprise bringing your hand up to her head and patted down "thank you very much, young lady"
You turn to look away and she pulls on your clothes again "wait!" she stopped you and you only turned your head "yes?" you answered softly and she blushes "I think papa will like you very much" you stared down at the little child with widened eyes
"Oh sweety, no no no" you caught yourself and held a soft tone with the child "I have a husband" you lied to the little girl and she frowned, your smile lowered as well, saddened that you lied to the baby

You walk in and immediately walked up to the bartender and waited until he was done serving a customer who eyed your carefully, causing a shiver to crawl up your spine "ugh" you groan looking at the bottles that sat behind the bar table
"How may I help you, today lady," the gruff man asked you and you eyed him up and down and smiled sweetly "do you have any spare rooms upstairs ?" your voice coming off gentle and slick
the man glanced at your noticeable features and smirked: "yes we do just two left, want me to show you both of them and see which one you like?" He asked kindly and you nodded happily "I would love to," you say as you hopped out of the stool and followed the man of the steps "may I ask for your name?" you questions and he turned his head to you
"Jasper, a pleasure to meet you" yall walked down the hall and around the corner "y/n the pleasure is all mine" by time y'all introduced each other, you've made it to the first room and he opened the door for you "is this to your liking madam?" He questioned and you nodded
"Yes I quite like, you may go" you parted ways after he gave you the keys
"Way bigger than in that castle"
