The researchers got on the boat. Jose and his boats are in cuffs and being escorted to the boat. A couple of bodies are wrapped in cloth and being carried by two men, Aesop and Andrew. The boat is away from the shore. Kurt and Murro are on a small boat near shore. Melly is standing in front of Luchino. He has his scaly hands on her cheek. The two look sad at each other.
"This is for the best, Melly." Luchino said.
"Luchi..." Melly sounded like she's about to cry. She has her mask off and Luchino could see her tears. He gently wipes her tears.
"I'll always love you, my darling." Luchino said.
"I love you too, Luchi." Melly said. Melly walks over to the boat. The boat started slowly leaving shore. Melly could see Luchino seeing them leave. Melly looks down at her wedding ring and looks sad. Murro and Kurt looked at each other.
"You know, you could always stay here with him. It's your choice if you do." Murro said.
"I..." Melly was speechless.
"After so long of looking for him and when you find him, you're just gonna give him up like that?" Kurt asked. Melly looked at them and then looked back at Luchino.
"Also Mrs. Diruse, you forgot your belongings over there." Murro said, pointing near a boulder where Melly's four bags of belongings are.
"What about the mainland?" Melly asked.
"We could tell them we lost you on the trip." Kurt suggested. Luchino turns his back and looks like he was about to walk away. Melly goes into the water and swims to shore. Luchino turns around and sees his wife swimming to the shore. He walks over and she jumps into his arms.
"Melly.." Luchino said.
"I love you, I wanna stay here with you." Melly said.
"But honey.." Luchino was about to argue.
"When we got married, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, no matter what. I don't care if we're stuck here, I don't care if you're looking like that, I love you so much Luchino." Melly confessed. She held Luchino's hands and he looked lovingly at his wife.
"I love you too, honey." Luchino said. He gets to eye level with his wife and kisses her. The two pull from the kiss. The two grab Melly's items and go into the jungle.
