They had to get out of here. The four quadruplets were stuck in the sewers. When the hand grabbed Gillian and Raymond it brought them to the cold stone walls of the sewer. Hugh and Rex has been in there hours prior and were freezing. The sewer smelled of rotting flesh and molding sewage. Gillian has suggested taking coats from the large pile of items they had found on the ground. Everyone hesitantly agreed.  They knew what this was, a serial killer and they were going to be his next victims. Even worse they were going to be eaten, as Hugh explained how he found a chewed of hand when he and Rex walked into the sewer.

The four children huddled together each facing a side. Gillian had a baseball bat clutched in her hand while Hugh gripped an old pipe. Rex and Raymond on the other hand held tennis balls. All things they found on the floor.

Gillian tugged the yellow raincoat she had found closer to her body.

"Guys we've got to find a way out of here." She whispered to her brothers. They all nodded. They didn't want to become a meal to the cannibal.

"Yes but how these tunnels are endless." Hugh articulated to his siblings.

"Yeah not to mention all the tight tunnels." Rex whined.

"Oh Rex stop being a baby would you rather be someone's meal." Gillian hissed.  Rex shook his head violently. "That's what I thought now let's go."

"Go where?" Ray asked.

"Anywhere but here." Gillian stated. The boys nodded at her response and carefully shuffled to one of the 6 exits.

"Which one?" Ray asked Hugh.

"Well considering all of these will lead to more tunnels. I don't know!" Hugh freaked.

"Shh, I hear something." Gillian whispered.

"What is it?" Rex whispered gripping his tennis ball even harder.

"I don't know but listen." All of them immediately shut up. Sure enough there was a soft thud thud thud approaching them.

"Hide!" Ray commanded quietly. They all nodded and separated. Gillian rushed behind a large chest that smelled of mildew. Hugh hid behind a pile of books found on the floor. Ray noticed a tarp on the ground and crawled underneath it. Rex looked around frantically. The thuds got louder and he was yet to hid. Panicked Rex dove into the pile of items. He clamped his mouth shut as the smell of blood entered his nose.

The sound of chewing entered there ears. Gillian cringed before peaking her head out. She gasped quietly, a clown with orange tuffs of hair and a dirty white suit had an arm in his hand and he was chewing on it flavorfully. An evil grin was etched on his face. Gillian's stomach churned and vile rose up in her throat. Before she knew it vomit came out of her mouth. Her eyes widened as the clown looked her way. She ducked behind the dresser, her knees tucked tightly into her chest. The soft thuds came her way. This was it this was going to be the end of Gillian Elspeth Abbott. Well until it wasn't. A large bang sounded from the other side of the sewer. The clown turned its head and followed the noise like a dog would food. Something wasn't
right and the Abbotts knew that. That's why they had to escape.

The sewer was not the place to be for 3 months. And to say they weren't hungry was an understatement. The Abbotts ate anything they could find. From bugs to half uneaten sandwiches. They were sick and weak. Not surprisingly though considering their conditions. Hugh had  concluded that they have gotten Campylobacteriosis, a possible life threatening disease.

"Okay it should not take 3 months to get out of a sewer!" Gillian groaned, clutching her stomach.

"We should be out by now." Hugh stated.

"Ya think!" Ray snarled.

"Okay okay so maybe we just need to stop and think for a while." Hugh muttered squirming under Rays gaze.

"Maybe that cannibal set up traps so we couldn't leave!" Rex exclaimed his eyes bursting with ideas. Hugh and Ray laughed.

"That's the stupidest reason I've ever heard." Hugh laughed.

"No, he has a point, it makes sense. I mean why else haven't we gotten out of here." Gillian interrupted there conversation. All the siblings got quite, pondering the possible idea.

"Hey look!" Rex shouted pointing at a small opening. It was an exit, one that had not been their prior to the argument.

"That was not there before." Ray stated, slightly startled.

"Come on, lets go." Gillian ushered her brothers along. They were finally going to be home.
