"Guys were almost there!" Gillian cried excitedly. Her hand gripped Rex's as she dragged him towards the light. For someone who had been in a sewer for three months she sure had energy.
"Gil slow down I can't keep up." Ray panted from behind her.
"I can't I'm to excited!" She smiled. Rex rolled his eyes. He wanted more then anything for Gillian to stop gripping his hand. Gillian stopped in her tracks and took a deep breath. "Fresh air." She breathed. All of her siblings stopped to breathe in the air as well. "Alright all we gotta do is turn the corner and we're free."
"That is so not funny." A voice whined from the sewer entrance. Gillian placed her hand in front of her brothers and motioned for them to be quite. The dark brunette peered her head around the corner. Kids, from school.
"Well what is it?" Hugh asked his sister. Rex also peered his head around the corner.
"It looks like Bill Denbrough and his friends." He told them.
"Okay well come on." Ray ushered them on. Gillian was frozen. For some reason no one could get her to budge.
"Gil come on." Hugh said snapping his fingers in front of her face. She immediately blinked and looked at her fellow quads.
"Let's go." Was all she said before walking into the light
"O-o-okay I can smell it from here." The small boy, they knew as Eddie kaspbrak complained.
"It's probably just your breath wafting back into your face." Another boy shot back. "Have you ever heard of a staph infection?" Eddie yelled.
"I'll show you a "staff" infection." Richie told him.
"Uh guys." Stan tried to say. He noticed Gillian Abbott walk out of the tunnel behind Bill.
"Not now Stan!" Eddie short at him.
"But look!" Stan shouted pointing to the four Abbott's
"Holy shit." Richie breathed staring dead at them.
"What are you guys looking at?" Bill asked his friends. They all pointed and bill turned around.
"W-What the Hell." Bill stuttered out. Gillian waved at the friends awkwardly.
"What happened to you guys?" Stan asked. Gillian sighed.
"It's a long story." She breathed lightly.
"Very long." Ray added. "And it's there faults." He accuses pointing at Hugh and Rex.
"Me! No it was Rex!" Hugh argued.
"No it wasn't!"
"Yes it was." The two argued.
"Can both of you stop!" Gillian yelled pushing the two apart. They both muttered an apology before looking at there soaked feet.
"Is that-" Bill began before being cut off by Richie.
"Is that Georgie's rain coat?" He quizzed studying Gillian. She looked down at the now dirtied yellow coat and found a small name tag. George Denbrough it read. Her eyes widened and she began to panic.
"I'm so sorry I didn't know and I just- here." Gillian rambled pulling off the coat and handing it to Bill. He shook his head and pushed it back towards her.
"K-Keep it, it suits you." He smiled slightly. Gillian sighed. The smile didn't reach his eyes and she felt awful.
"Hey what's that?" Ray asked pointing at a shoe in the water.
"Shit." Stan cursed "Don't tell me that's..."
"No." Was all Bill said. "G-Georgie was wearing galoshes."
"Who's sneaker is it?" Eddie asked the group.
"It's Betty Ripsoms." Hugh told them picking up the grey converse. Eddie began to curse causing the Quads heads to spin.
"I don't like this." Eddie cried.
"Neither do we, trust us." Gillian muttered loud enough for only Bill and her Brothers to hear.
"How do you think Betty feels... Going around these tunnels with only one fucking shoe." Richie joked everyone shook their heads at him, to soon.
"What if she's still here?" Stan asked. Rex shook his head.
"We would have seen her." Eddies eyes widened.
"How do we know you didn't have something to do with this!" He accused. "I bet Gillian killed Georgie and that's how she got the raincoat." All the others stared down the Abbotts, who were slowly backing into a the wall.
"Eddie, come on that's ridiculous." Richie assured him.
"I don't know, he has a point." Stan told Richie.
"Look it wasn't us." Ray studied.
"How do we know that?" Eddie inquired.
"I'm serious. Sometimes things just get Quaded up, but this, this was not our doing." Ray pleaded. All of them were fearful.
"Bill?" Gillian asked carefully.
"I believe you but, if it wasn't you who was it?"
"It was a cannibal!" Rex blurted out. Gillian smacked him and he gave her a death glare.
"This is insane." Stan cried shaking his head. "It's summer why are we dealing with this shit!"
"Look, we think it's a cannibal, we all got trapped somehow and ended up in sewers," Eddie crinkled up his nose in disgust, "And when we were there, there was this clown and he was holding some kids hand!" Gillian explained to them.
"My heads about to explode." Eddie said holding his head. A wave of nausea came over Gillian.
"Guys, I don't feel to good." She whispered to her brothers. They all nodded. None of them felt to hot. Gillian however they knew had it the worst. "Guys help me-" Gillian began to fall forward, her eyes fluttering shut. Ray dived to catch her.
"We need a doctor stat. There is something seriously wrong with us." Hugh cried as Rex and Ray both hauled Gillian to the sewers edge.
"I can't carry her anymore. I'm to weak." Ray huffed setting his sister on the ground.
"W-We've got h-her." Bill stuttered going to the sewer entrance. Richie nodded before a loud crash entered their eardrums.
"Holy shit, what happened to you?" Richie exclaimed to the source of the crash. A kid, man was this summer going to suck.
