Shattered Hearts

-One week later

~Shawn's POV

Today's the day, the day I ask Maggie to be my girlfriend. I'm really nervous. I whipped out my phone and texted Maggie.

To Maggie😍- Hey beautiful would you go on a date with me?

From Maggie😍- Yeah were and when?

To Maggie😍- Meet me at the beach in an hour?

From Maggie😍- Okay see you there

(End of conversation)

She said yes! Thank God she said yes, now it's time to get things set up. I really hope she says yes.

-Maggie's POV

I woke up to a text from Shawn! I really like him but I don't think he likes me. I opened my phone and read the text and replied. I quickly ran to the shower. After I showered I brushed my teeth and wrapped a towel around me. I went to my dresser and picked out a purple bikini and a purple sundress to put over it. Then I put on white flip flops. After that I put on water proof massacre and water proof eyeliner and put my hair in a side fish tail braid. I looked at my phone and still had half an hour left. I went downstairs to the living room and watched T.V. for fifteen minutes. Then I went off to go to the beach. I saw Shawn sitting down with a picnic basket. Once he saw me he flashed a perfect smile my way. He got up and walked over to me and hugged me. "Hey beautiful" he said making me blush. 'How does he always make me blush?' "Hey Shawn" I said smiling. After that we at down and ate the lunch he brought us. We just sat and talked then he picked me up and threw me over his shoulder. "Put me down I'm in a dress" I said after I noticed where he was going. He just chuckled. Then the next thing i knew I was in the lake. "Dang it Shawn" I said noticing my dress was drenched. I looked around and didn't see Shawn. "SHAWN WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU?" I screamed. Then all of the sudden two muscular arms were wrapped around my waist. "I'm right here" I heard Shawn say. "OMG you scared me to death what the hell" I said as he turned me around. "I'm sorry beautiful" he said making me blush. Dang this boy. "It's okay" I said and he smiled. "Can I ask you something?" he said getting nervous. "Yeah" I said and he gulped "Will you be my girl friend?" he asked and I almost exploded "YES" I said and before I knew it our lips were connected. The kiss was slow and passionate but only lasted like ten seconds. "I was hoping you would say that" he said and smiled. After that we went back to the picnic that Shawn had laid out. "Would you like to come over to my house and meet everyone?" he asked and I froze. "Um... Yeah you should come over before then" I said and he smiled. "Okay what time?" He asked "Um how about 2" I said and he nodded. "Then at 6:30 we can go to my house" he said and I nodded. He walked me home and it was silent the whole way there. Not an awkward silence but a peaceful silence. When we got to my door step he hugged me and kissed my forehead "See you tomorrow beautiful." he said and I blushed "Bye Shawn" I said and walked inside. I checked my phone and saw that it was 5:30. Dang I was gone from 2 till 5:30? Oh well I had fun.

I went upstairs to change into dry clothes. I slid on some pajama pants and a tee-shirt and went on my laptop. I was watching Pretty Little Liars until my mom called me down for dinner. "Maggie pizza is here" she yelled and I went downstairs and ate my pepperoni pizza. After I put my plate away I went upstairs did my nightly routine and went to sleep thinking about how tomorrow will go.

~Next morning

I woke up and checked the time. It was 10:55 I have plenty of time. I hopped in the shower, once I was done I changed into black high wasted shorts and a neon pink sweatshirt. I put my hair in a French braid and headed downstairs. I made my self a bowl of cereal and watched some TV. after three episodes of The Walking Dead I heard a knock on the door. I opened the door to see a smiling Shawn. He is so amazing he always knows how to make me smile. "Hey beautiful" he said walking in and hugging me. I hugged back "Hey Shawn" I said releasing the hug. "What do you wanna do?" Shawn asked. "Um we can watch some movies" I said while walking over to the couch as Shawn followed. "Okay what do you want to watch?" Shawn asked sitting on the couch. "I don't care." I said sitting next to him. "Lets watch The Purge!!!!!!" he said excitedly I giggled "Sure" I said turning on the Purge.
