Alarm having been shut off, the siren slept well into the morning. He began to stir lightly. He knew somewhere in there that he had gotten plenty of sleep, but something was missing. Then it occurred to him. Blaine's knocking. The wolf rubbed at his face as he sat up with an, "Mmph-"
As soon as he spotted his bodyguard sprawled out in the bed across from him, he shut up. Eyes wide, brows high and ears sharp, he watched as Blaine slept the day away. Aw, poor thing. They must be exhausted. I wonder how much energy being hurt so bad takes. And they worked so hard yesterday....
His guard slept surprisingly still, remaining on their back most of the night. Her head was lolled to the side and lips slightly parted. Her dark hair sprawled over face and pillow drew a beauty to the woman's serene face one would not see on the normally grumpy guard's features.
Still, when he looked at his watch, the numbers read, "10:00." Hm. They'd be pretty mad if they slept all day and missed the opportunity to go out.... After considering his options, Ashton decided on a gentle wake up. The wolf slipped off of his bed and bent over Blaine. "Hey Bee-it's morning," he murmured softly. He reached out and touched an upper shoulder to jostle them easily.
At Ashton's gentle goading, she inhaled softly, eyes cracking blearily. "Hmn?" The woman reached out and grabbed to singer, tugging him down to her bed. "M'not making noodles yet," she mumbled, four arms wrapping around the younger man and pulling him tight. The guard was strong, even in her sleep. One leg curled around his hips as she hugged his face to her chest. "Lemme lone. Jus' wanna sleep." Ace felt her face nuzzle in against the top of his head between his ears. She gave a content little, "Mmm," and grew still.
Eeeeeeep! Ashton squealed inwardly as he was enveloped in arm and arm and leg and arm and nuzzles and arm. His fur bristled lightly as his cute little heart sped. Noodles? Should I buy them a body pillow? rattled out questions as he lay frozen in the bodyguard's grasp. He was considering letting Blaine sleep it out-but there was the issue of air. The very red siren wiggled a bit in effort to get his nose up to fresh air-though he noted in his cute panic that Blaine did have good taste in soap scents.
Blaine was silent as the wolf in their arms struggled for air. The guard shifted, then hissed a breath in as her wound stung through to her sleep addled brain. Her body tensed and she immediately angled her body to take pressure off her side. The guard exhaled in relief, then looked down at the young man in her grasp. Surprise did not enter her features, nor did anger. She blinked. His face was so smushed into her breasts only his eyes were peeking up at her.
"Lonely, Mr. Wells?" The corner of the guard's lips curled up in amusement as her arms eased, allowing the singer air and a chance to flee. She moved to stand on hands and knees above the star, looking down at him. "Next time you want to cuddle, I'll get you a teddy bear."
As Blaine hovered above the popstar, the wolf gawked up at his guard. His eyes wide and blush dusting generously over his face and even down his neck, it was clear he was not used to this sort of situation. Though as a star who could have about anyone out of his fanbase, the kid staring up at Blaine spelled out, "gobsmacked and adorable". "I-but-you-" he stuttered as Blaine eased off of him.
Blaine stood and placed a hand to her side. A touch of crimson could be seen beneath her shirt. "Damn."
But you were the one who grabbed me! Ashton wanted to exclaim, but at the sight of red, he sucked in a breath. It took effort not to whine aloud. He didn't think Blaine would like him fussing too hard.
