Narrator's POV

The Seeker was already in the gladiator arena, ready for the "surprise" Knoukout had told her about

Knoukout: A guy contacted me and told me to tell a certain Airachnid to tell you-

Megabite: yes, I understand

The Femme was confused, it had been about two minutes that she was there, when a huge hand covered her view

Megatronus: who am I?

Megabite: Meg, I know it's you

The gladiator gave back the sight to his friend who turned towards him, who handed her a small metal box from her side.

Megabite: another gift? I already told you there is no need

Megatronus: you open it

The Femme opened the box, finding a gold necklace with a closing pendant set in an Energon crystal, just opened, the pendant sang a melody showing a holography of the two (holographic photograph, my narrative invention) and Femme was moved almost to tears

Megatronus: d-do you like it?

Megabite: it's-it's beautiful... thanks Meg, I'll always keep it with me, I'll never part with it

All the images turned into smoke, then took shape again, the war had recently begun, given the destruction around him, this time it was Starscream the protagonist, everything around was destroyed and he could hear the screams of desperation of the victims, he was in the Megabite's apartment now half destroyed, he hugged the pendant that Megatronus had given to Megabite, opening it to hear that melody that for some reason he loved so much, but part of the rubble fell on him, and there everything vanished

The Seeker woke up with a start, frightened and confused by the dream just ended, he had so many questions, why was he there?  Why did she have the Megabite pendant?  What happened to him after the debris fell?  He managed to answer only one of those many questions, he remembered that a soldier of the Decepticon army had found him unconscious at that point, crushed by the rubble, brought him in the presence of Lord Megatron who recruited him for the army, the Seeker he still had in mind the sweet and harmonious song of the pendant, but he could not think about it at that moment, for sure Knoukout and Shockwave were looking for him to use him as a guinea pig for some gimmick, so he hurried to get on the bridge and bowing to his lord as always , still with his old smile on his retina, as soon as Lord Megatron noticed the Seeker he turned towards him

Megatron: Starscream, what do you want !?

Starscream: My Lord, I have become aware of a data source on the council on Cybertron, request your authorization for a reconnaissance on the planet

The larger Mach paused for a moment, creating a silence filled with anxiety and fear

Megatron: you would never go to Cybertron for trivial reasons, I authorize the patrol, but you will not use the land bridge

Starscream: thank you very much Master, I will not disappoint you

The Seeker ran to the launch deck of the Nemesis and then transformed without hesitation, theoretically it would have taken a week and a half of the human calendar to get there, especially thanks to its speed, so it began its journey towards Cybertron and towards the truth that was hidden behind those dreams and that necklace...
