"With me." She said with a smirk and entered the cafe.

"What, I stay with-" no use, she was already inside. Why will I and why should I? What is the use of being in this cafe. A man and a woman should keep distance and I have to stay with her.

How am I supposed to live with her?! No! But I have no option. Even though! I should, more like she should have chosen a better place, not something like this.

Since there is no other option, I will maintain distance. That is a promise to my ethics.

I followed her, entering the cafe, it was quite nice. Small yet elegant and that homey feeling. Every single thing here, complimented each other.

The smell of coffee filled the air and I instantly found myself inhaling it more and walking to get myself a coffee.

The walls were peach creme and the white yet classy ceiling was decorated with white led lightings and the wooden white chairs and tables immediately sent a thought to me.

'Why have I never been here before? This place is plain beautiful'

I was mesmerized enough and finally looked at the counter. The owner was a couple, lovely at that.

Someone around me dashed to them and hugged them in a bone crushing grip. That someone is Riddhima.

"Hey, I.. can't b-reathe" the male muttered and true to his words, his and his wife's faces were red due to lack of oxygen. "Sorry!" she apologized while chirping, releasing them from her grip.

Right! She has eccentric strength that was why they could not breathe properly. Why is she not careful with her strength it is dangerous?

For people like me and them. The male ruffled her hair with those eyes were you could see that they have all the love stored just for you. The wife pulled her cheeks.

These actions just displayed how close they were with each other. It was quite a touching moment and I honestly do not want to ruin it but I feel quite uncomfortable.

I shifted my shoulders a bit in discomfort. And it seemed like they noticed me, immediately turning to me, "Yes, sir, how can we-" the male started asking me but was snubbed by his wife.

She poked him in the abdomen and signalled him towards Riddhima. And then, I noticed the signalling that was going on between them. What was that?

"Pardon us, my husband is a bit nuisance." This seemed to offend the husband and he looked at her with disbelief. "Yah! Who are you calling a nuisance?! Do I look like a nuisance to you?!" the husband exclaimed.

"Pardon us. Again!" she elbowed him again but a little more aggressively and the look she gave warned him to give up or else there were going to be consequences.

He immediately stopped and glared at her. Such a cute couple! They were beautiful together. Wait! When did I become a whinny girly girl?

Something is definitely wrong with me. I swear, I coo at the most ridiculous thing, right now. "This is Vandana, my bestie and her husband, my guy best friend Karthik" she introduced and I politely shook their hands while displaying a simple smile.

They returned me with their own smile. "Nice to meet you" they said together. And I repeated. Then, suddenly the door to the cafe opened with quite a noise. I was about to turn around but Riddhima stopped me.

She glared at me and pushed me towards the counter. "Stay here" she said, gravity visible on her face.

"I will tell you the rest, you see the door there" she pointed to the staffs working room and I nodded, "take that door, there will be a backdoor, open it and you will find an alley, walk two kilometres straight and the rest I will tell you on your phone" she said while pointing to the air pods she had on.

My phone immediately vibrated and I picked the call and connected it to my own. "We will distract the people in the cafe and you take the leave." She murmured under her breath so that no one understands, but I caught it.

I nodded and took the staffs working room and as instructed, I left the cafe. I started walking straight. "Are you there? Tell me where exactly are you?" she asked.

I chest swelled up with pride, I hired a responsible, strong, genius, strategic, intelligent and brilliant Secretary. I am truly amazing. I understand what a type of person anyone is with just one glance.

"Almost, I see a medical store, the name is Jyoti Medics" I answered back. "Ok, you are going right, walk a bit more, you will find my house." She said.

"How are you distracting people there?" I asked as I am quite curious on how she is handling things there. "Your stalker's idea, I am acting all against you saying you fired me for no reason, I deserved that job and blah" she blankly said.

"You are doing that there?!" I asked astonished, "I never fired you!" I exclaimed, "What?! Fire me fast!" she whisper yelled from there. "Ok, ok, fine" I immediately stopped walking and messaged my other Secretary, Angre.

Every businessman has two Secretaries for avoiding future messes, in case one gets fired or is sick. I can simply take the other one. Both work equally and get paid equally. Workload is shared between them and thus, it becomes easier for me and my secretaries.

"Did you get any message?" I asked her. "Yes!" came her reply, I have never seen someone so happy on being fired, again, she is not ordinary.

"I got a termination letter! Work done! Where are you right now?" she asked back. "Uh, this is quite weird but I am in front of a villa, No. 3" I was baffled, why is there a villa here and that too, No. 3. This means there are more.

"Ok, you are in front of my house, listen clearly, the passcode is 0529 and open the gate with the key near the money plant, check, I will end the call now" she said and the call disconnected.

Ok, so the money plant hides the key and the passcode is 0529. I followed what she said. How does she own a villa? And why is she working under my company as a Secretary when she is living well?

That is confusing. I will ask her later about this but now, before anyone notices, I should proceed to move inside.

That way I will be safe and no one will be coming after me, asking what I was doing in an unfamiliar neighborhood and if I am a thief.

I quickly entered inside. I opened my shoes and pushed it to the side.

This was a long day.
