Written Cords (DNF)

Chapter 1

George awakes as the morning sun creeps through the window, reminding him that he has school today. He gets up with little effort and goes to his closet to see what to wear. He ends up going with a light blue jumper and dark blue jeans. He changes into his clothes and goes downstairs where he is greeted with his mother.

"Morning George, sleep well?" his mother asks.
"Eh, it was fine...I guess..." he responds sounding tired.
"I guess you didn't get much sleep again. I'll make you some tea, go wake up your sister." She said with a smile.
George nodded his head and went up the stairs to his sister's room and knocked the door till she opened it.
"Ugh. Morning George." his sister says.
"Morning bedhead, want some breakfest?" George said.
"Are you or mom making it?"she asked.
"mom"
"Oh thank god, you're terrible at cooking." she said teasingly.
"oh thanks Jax for telling how how I good cook I am." he laughs.
They both head downstairs and smell the sweet bacon and syrup with seasoned eggs. The two siblings got their food and sat at the table eating while checking the time. 7:11am.
"OH, SH- SHOOT WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE-" George days trying not to swear.
Him and Jax quickly grab their stuff and got into George's car and went to school. George dropped off Jax at her middle school and he drove straight to the high school.

George arrives at the school and walks into the cafeteria to meet up with his friends: Dream, Sapnap, Karl and Quackity. He somehow is the first one there despite being being bit late. Soon Karl, Sapnap and Quackity arrive all at the same time.
"Hey George!" Karl yells over and waves.
"Hey guys! Where's Dream?" George asks.
"He said he forgot to grab something so he should be here soon." Sapnap answers.

They wait for dream to arrive and he finally arrives running with a box.
"

I'm finally here!" Dream said panting.
"what's that box for?" George asks.
"uh I'll show you in Mr. Soot's class" Dream said.
"alright?" Everyone says in unison.
The bell then right and they all scattered to get to their classes.
George arrived to his first class which was English with Mr. Blade.

After english he went to his Music class which he had with Dream, Sapnap, Quackity and Karl.
"Hey guys!" George said to them since they were all there.
"Hey George! I can finally show you what's in the box!" Dream said excitedly.
Everyone gathered around the box as dream opened it there were old wore sheets of music, gutair picks and more random old worn notes. George grabbed one of the sheets and noticed old stains the seemed to be a decades old.
"What is all of this?" George asks Dream.
"It's my late grandparents stuff and I've always wanted to make a band and such but no one is ever interested...so I thought I would make this seem like a big deal so you would get excited about it." Dream explained.

Wilbur noticed the boys all gathered gathered around Dream and walked up to them to see what was going on.
"Hey kids, what's this about?" He asks with curious look on his face.
"Oh, it's my late grandparents old music stuff from their band they used to have." Dream responded.
"You know, if you kids wanted to start a band you can borrow the instruments here other then the pianos ans keyboards." Wilbur said.
"Really?" Dream said with a spark in his eye like he was excited.
George thought about how much he loved seeing Dream so happy and how he wished to preserve his happiness. He thinks He'd love to be apart of a band with Dream as long as he can play gutair.
"Alright are you boys going to go through with this band? you better start talking about it before I change my mind." he said jokingly.
"I WANT TO PLAY THE DRUMS!" Sapnap exclaimed.
"I'll play the keyboard since I know how." Quackity agreed.
"I can kinda play the bass, still need to practice though." Karl said embarrassed.
everyone looked at George waiting for him to answer and this caused him to panic for a second. Does he want to be apart of the band? all these questions go through his mind and Dream placed his hand on his shoulder and snapped him back to reality.
"Of course I want to join, I'll play the gutair." George finally responded l. He smiled at Dream as a way to thank him for calming him down.
"So you've all decided to start a band? Do you have a name yet?" Mr. Soot asks.
"uh, how about Feral Boys?" Quackity said.
"That's a great name Quackity!" Dream responded with excitement.
"Alright, Feral Boys. Let me show you where the instruments you need are and you can practice them all class since this is a music class." Mr. Soot said as he signaled them to follow him.
They all followed him into this room full of amps, cords, gutairs, old drum sticks. Mr. Soot grabbed a electric gutair and handed it to George.
"This is the instruments you'll be learning to play, it's much more easier then an acoustic so I think you'll learn to play with ease." Soot explained.
he then handed Karl a base, Sapnap Drum sticks and dream a microphone. He then went into another room with a drum set and a keyboard.
"Here is your practice room, come here whenever you want. As long as you're not skipping class."
Everyone nodded and started looking up everything about their respective instruments while Quackity started playing the ICarly theme song.

After practicing and going to the rest of their classes they all meet up at the end of the day to say their goodbyes. George then got into his car and went to go pick up his sister from school.
"Hey george." Jax said with a bit of a sad tone.
"what's wrong Jax?" George asks.
"I'll talk about it later, anyways what's that in the back?" she asks avoiding the question.
George didn't want to pressure her so she decided not to continue that and answer her question.
"It's a gutair."
"You? Playing the gutair? Why?" Jax questioned.
"I'm in a band with my friends." He responded.
"is Dream in it?" She said teasingly.
"Maybe...that doesn't matter he's apart of it that doesn't mean anything."
"Uhuh sure, I know you have a crush on him" she continued to tease.
"Jax shut up, I don't." He said kinda annoyed.
"Sure, I'll stop for now." she responded.

They arrived home and George was extremely tired and decided to skip dinner and lay down in his bed and think about everything that happened.

(first fanfic guys do tell me if you like it or not- but expect the DNF to really show in like later chapters because I'm not gonna rush anything or such. hope yall enjoyed this <3)
