Chapter 15

Wayzz's POV:

After eating our breakfast, I went back to my room to continue reading. I opened my book and pulled out the bookmark.

"Oh shoot, I forgot to feed him." I stood up and went to my table where there is an aquarium with my pet turtle.

"Sorry, I almost forgotten you." I grabbed a peace of lettuce and feed it to him. He pulled it from my hand and ate it.

I went back to my bed and continued reading. I am already in the best part.

"Now kiss." I hissed as I reached the scene where my ship finally sailed. It's been fifty chapters but it's worth the wait. I let out a smile in my face as I imagine them kissing.

"Finally!" I grunted and lie down in my bed. I giggled as I closed the book. I sighed while looking at the ceiling. While I savour the final scene in the book which is the kissing part, a memory flashed in my mind.

"No, no, no, no." I muttered and shook my head. Why is everytime I read a kissing scene, I remembered that incident.

"I hate you, Césaire." I hissed and slapped my head.

"Little dude, someone's looking for you!" I froze when Nino suddenly appeared in the doorway.

"How long have you been there?" I slowly stood up and walked towards him.

"Just now." He shrugged and I went to the living room. I saw Tikki sitting in the couch..

"Hey Wayzz!" I coldly looked at her. I paused when I realized I was still in my pyjamas.

"What are you doing here? It's early in the morning."

"Well-" she gave me an awkward grin. "I have a favor."

"Will you go with me to Kaalki's place? I'm not comfortable going there alone." She lowered her head.

"Why do you have to ask me when you have-"

"I can't ask Plagg since he's busy and I'm shy to ask him if he's not while Trixx was in charge of the bakery since Marinette wasn't around." She let out an uncomfortable grin.

"You let her took change of the bakery?" I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow. "If there's someone responsible enough to take charge, that would be me." I pointed at myself.

"I didn't think of that, sorry." She chuckled. "So are you coming with me?"

I sighed. "Just give me time to fix myself."

Tikki's POV:

"I lost again." I pouted and sighed. While waiting for Wayzz, Nino and I decided to have a match in Gamer 2.0. Honestly, I really sucked at this game. I'm not like Trixx or Marinette that is a pro.

"It's okay Tikki, you still have time to practice." Nino tapped my shoulder. "Maybe next time you can defeat me."

"Let's go." Wayzz fixed his clothes and I stood up.

"We should go. Enjoy the croissants I brought." I waved at Nino while he has a whole croissant stuffed in his mouth. I think he likes it. Wayzz closed the door and we started walking. It was silence. Nothing to start a conversation or what. It's awkward. Well, we're not that close actually until Plagg and Trixx started to become friends. Well, when someone from your friends hangout with someone, their other friends will tag along as well even you're not close with them. That's the case with Wayzz and me.
