"Hey! Hey! Wake up!"

Sykkuno woke to a soft feeling of being shaken. He looked around his room only to find he was, expectantly, the only one there. He chalked it up to just randomly waking up or a small earthquake, either way he still thought is was strange. Usually he slept through the whole night.

"Sykkuno! Hey! Wake up!"

So maybe he woke up because of the voice and not an earthquake. He tried going back to sleep but that voice kept prompting him to get up.

"I wanna show you something!"

It- ... what? It's a voice... how could it show me something?  He thought as he shot fully awake. He sat up and looked around his room again this time his eyes wide open. Still he saw nothing but that haunting feeling of not being alone when you are lingered with him the whole time.

"No! In the mirror silly!"

The mirror, the one thing he couldn't see fully from his bed. Slowly Sykkuno got out of bed and shuffled to the mirror. The only comforting thing was the fact that he could still hear some white noise.

"C'mon! Hurry up!"

Sykkuno froze when he eventually looked in the mirror, there was... nothing. He took a sigh of relief as he told himself that voice is just playing tricks on him. He turned to go back to sleep.

"No wait! Look again please!"

This time knowing he was fine he turned to the mirror. Nothi- a shadow. A silhouette, He looked behind himself, there was no one but when he looked back at the mirror he saw someone . They waved.

"Hello!"

Sykkuno was frozen, he couldn't tell if he was scared, confused, or just imagining things but he... he didn't know. Then it moved, moved toward him. It hugged him, and where Sykkuno could see it's arms, he felt like they were actually there even though when he looked there was nothing.

"Can you see me?"

Yes. Yes he could, but he was too awe struck to answer. He moved his hand up too where he could see the shadow's, when he put his hand in the same spot he felt cold. It was noticeably, much colder where the shadow's arms were. Then he heard a laugh,

"Don't do that it tickles!"

It sounded like it came from right next to him, and when he looked in the mirror he could have sworn the silhouette was smiling at him even though he couldn't see a mouth. This is a dream, I'm dreaming, this isn't real~

"This isn't real." Sykkuno said aloud.
"It isn't?" The shadow moved away, it still stood behind him but it was no longer touching him, and Sykkuno lost that feeling of it.
"No this is a dream- or, or I'm making this up." He was trying to convince himself of that but he only wanted to believe it, deep down he knew that it might be real.

"Oh, okay. I thought I might be able to convince you otherwise... I'll let you sleep." The voice sounded distraught and Sykkuno once again felt guilty about making his imagination sad. Or maybe it wasn't his imagination, he realized he could no longer hear those 'back-round noises' and he felt alone.

The shadow faded away as Sykkuno walked back to his bed, he tried to go back to sleep but he couldn't. He looked at the bear he had set on his night stand, even it looked sad now. He kept telling himself it wasn't real and he had just made it all up but something else kept telling him that it was, and that it did happen. That was Corpse.

"Hey Corpse?"

Nothing.

"I'm sorry."
