"Hey!"

Running, that's all she could do. She didn't want to get caught, nor be seen. But she made a mistake, one small slip up.

Lucia heard the loud thuds of footsteps following close behind her, along with the crunching of the fall leaves and fallen twigs and small branches. The Noceda didn't get a chance to see who was chasing after her, nor did she want to find out.

"You can do it, just a bit further." She told to herself as she pushed on towards her camp, but was instantly cut short by a rock jarring up from the earth below her.

Lucia grunted upon making impact with the ground. Growling, she silently cursed the rock as she got to her feet, ready to bolt away from her pursuer once more. Unfortunately for the female, she wasted too much time. She could see the figure moving closer to her. Backing away, she pulled out a combat weapon, her handy hunting knife.

She had to get out of there, and fast.

"Who are you?" The voice, it had a feminine tone to it. It sounded so... familiar, but the Noceda couldn't put finger on it. Did she used to know this person? Shaking the thoughts away, she glared at the person.

"As if I'd tell you." She spat, not turning towards the other. She heard a soft click, causing her to freeze in place. Her pursuer had a gun, and it was pointing directly at her.

"Answer the damn question." The unknown female hissed. Although it was a pretty dangerous situation she was in, the latina couldn't help but laugh.

"Why should I? Sure you got a gun pointed at me, but what makes you think you can boss me around, huh?" She asked, looking over her shoulder. The Noceda was stalling. She had a plan, but had to wait for the right time to execute it.

The other narrowed her eyes."Answering the question is the only thing from keeping a bullet to the heart."

Lucia grumbled, not knowing what to do. What was she to do? She wasn't finding any possible escapes. It was now or never.

Quickly turning, she launched at the other, hunting knife firmly gripped in her hand. This stunned the female, but was quick to retaliate. She moved to the side, narrowly dodging the knife as the Noceda continued forward. The move surprised Lucia, causing her to stumble and hit the ground.

Upon impact, Lucia's grip loosened on the knife as it fumbled out of her hand. She grumbled, cussing under her breath as she began to move to get up.

That was, until she could feel the barrel of the pistol against the back of her head.
