On the way to the castle in the forest. Josh was driving a sports car while Artoria is sitting in the front passenger seat as Emerald and Atalante were sitting in the back seat. They had their battle gear in the trunk.
Artoria: can I ask something?
Josh: You just did.
Emerald chuckled at the joke as Artoria was confused with it.
Josh: what's up?
Artoria: do you or Emerald have any magical powers?
Josh: Em, tell them.
Emerald tells both Artoria and Atalante that she used to live in an alternative reality where she was treated disrespected by someone before she recruited and trained by Josh.
Atalante: I see. This 'aura' was some kind of super power that is used for a thing called 'Semblance'?
Emerald: yep.
Artoria: and what's your counterpart's Semblance?
Josh: to be honest, I don't know.
Artoria: what do you mean you don't know?
Josh: Look, I didn't get the chance to ask, alright? I was busy trying to prevent a war between a kingdom called Atlas and elite military force called the First Order. (Realises that he was angry with Artoria for no reason) sorry about that.
She notices that Josh was upset about something and she goes to put her arm on his shoulder.
Artoria: so I've been meaning to ask you: what's your wish when we win the grail?
Josh: Honestly? To take back what I did.
Emerald knew what he meant and doesn't go into details as Atalante was looking at her master in worry.
Then Josh pulls into a forest with a castle in the distance. The pair armoured up as the servants armed themselves. Josh had activated his scanner and has a look in the east and south directions.
In the south direction, he saw Irisviel and a woman dressed in a black suit with short black hair heading towards the same direction as a man dressed in a black outfit with a cross around his neck. And in the east, he saw that Lakshmi-bai was having trouble with a deranged looking man who was with a group of children. Josh had a very angry look when he deactivate his scanner.
Josh: (trys not to loose his cool) Emerald... send Atalante to the east...
Emerald: (to Atalante) go.
Atalante heads over to the east with Artoria to help Lakshmi-bai.
Josh: go to Iris, Em.
Emerald: you got it.
She actives her jet pack and goes into the Irisviel's location as he contacts an old aly.
?: hello, Josh.
Josh: how are you?
?: I take it that you need my services?
Josh: yea. How fast can you get here?
?: as soon as possible. Why?
Josh: cause I have a feeling that I'll need your help.
?: sit tight. I'll be there shortly.
4 hours earlier:
In the castle, Emyia is chatting with Irisviel, Lakshmi-bai and Mayia about the overseers message when he had started a heated argument with his servant making her angry.
Lakshmi-bai: (mutters) at least Josh is doing something about it...
Emyia: what was that, saber?
Lakshmi-bai: nothing.
Then Emyia gathers them only to find out that Caster has arrived with a group of children, Emyia lets her to eliminate Caster. Lakshmi-bai goes to fight against Caster only to find herself in a trap. A few starfish monsters had restrained her. She struggled with some of her strength until a bunch of arrows had forced them to let her go making Caster angry.
Caster: who's out there?!
Then some more of his monster were destroyed by red lightning. He turn to see Artoria in her full armour and Caster was over excited
Artoria: you need to get your eyes checked. I'm not your so called holy maiden.
Caster: of course you are!
As Caster continues to rant on about Lakshmi-bai being his holy maiden but Artoria wasn't having any nonsense about it and destroys some more of his monsters. Then Atalante appeared in a tree branch and she was furious with Caster.
Atalante: You damn monster! In what right have you to massacre innocent children?!
Caster: it's for my wish f-
He was interrupted by Atalante by punching him in the gut which sent him through a bunch of trees nearby. And he ordered his monsters to attack the three servants
