Location: Uganda, Geahon telescope dome. Date: January 11, 2020. Time, 4,00 AM. Two astronomers watch the sky with wonder.
“Hey! Have a look at this!”
“Wow!”
“It seams to be another planet.”
“We’d better get a good meal because we’re going to be staying up late tonight.”
“OK!”
Two weeks later, one astronomer watches the planet and the other, mumbling, charts its path. “Then It's comes over here, and it does this...”
“Look! It's about half way from earth to Venus.”
“That’s about 79.7 million miles from the sun!”
“Whoa! Did you get that screen cord fixed?”
“Sure did.”
“Good.”
Then the astronomer at the telescope turned on a big screen and they both sat down to watch what the telescope was looking at.
“The sun! It's reshaping the sun! Wait! No! It's pulling some of the sun's gases away!”
“Look at how fast the gases are traveling. Quick! Move the telescope, they're almost out of view.”
The other astronomer garbed a remote and moved the telescope so they could still see the gases.
“Holy cats! The gas has past earth. It's heading toward Jupiter. Whoa! The gases just took out Jupiter and disappeared.”
Later on the news. “Good evening. Two astronomers who work at the Geahon telescope dome in Uganda have found a new planet they are calling Planet VEE. They say it came from out side of our solar system and will come close enough to Ugandan to send out a probe in about a week. Here is actual footage of Planet vee’s gravitational pull pulling gases from the sun and sending them into Jupiter.” After the clip the news reporter continues. “Now we will have a moment of silence for Jupiter.” Pictures of Jupiter came on one by one.
One week later on the news. “People are flocking to Uganda to camp near the launch pad and watch the launch of the N.E.S probe. We don't know when they will start the launch but we do know it will be soon. If you can't afford the trip you can watch from the comfort of your own home right here on Route 66 News. We now go live to the Geahon launch site. ”
Astronomer, “It's close enough. Start the launch.” As he looks at the planet through the telescope, the other astronomer pushes a red button on the desk and a computer voice counts down. “10, 9...,” the crowd joins in. “8, 7, 6, 5...” “Soon we will know all about this planet.” “2, 1; and we have lift off of the N.E.S. probe.”
On the Geahon web site there is a page about the N.E.S probe. “The N.E.S. Probe, a cube shaped robot, is one step away from being called android. It flies and hovers, taking samples from planets. It gets its flying power from the sun, and can launch it self off the planet and return to earth with samples using part solar power and part rocket fuel. But it can only do this once before needing a refuel, so at launch we use a spaceship to get it into space.”
People watched as the ship soon disappeared into the sky. Then one of the astronomers spoke over the loud speaker. “Attention people! If you have a laptop or cell phone with Internet capabilities, we have a free connection, go to www.geahon.Org and click on watch probe to see the view from the probe's camera or the view of the probe from the telescope. You can also have a split screen of the two.I hope you have enjoyed your camp here. Have a nice day.”
“I can’t see the probe anymore.”
“Good. That means it's made it into space. Activate the telescope's day vision.”
Computer voice. “Day vision on.”
“I see it. It's close to Planet Vee.”
Then he turned on the screen and both astronomers sat down to watch.
“It's shaking.”
“What just happened? We've lost the view from N.E.S’s camera.”
“Holy cats! It's breaking up! We've lost it.”
“Attention people. What you just saw was the Probe being ripped to shreds by the gravitational pull of Planet Vee. This tells us that we can't get our current day space probes on the planet. So we have to ...” Suddenly There was a violent shaking.
“What's happening?”
“Planet Vee’s gravitational pull is causing an earthquake! Attention people! Planet Vee’s gravitational pull is causing an earth quake! Get to shelter fast!”
Later on the news, “Good evening. The N.E.S probe was ripped to shreds by Planet Vee’s gravitational pull which shortly after caused the worlds most violent earthquake ever recorded, 12 on the Richter scale, breaking the previous record of 9.5. Authorities are working hard to repairing the damage. Fortunately, there were only some minor damages to the Gehon telescope dome, and the telescope retained full function. The astronomers say Planet Vee is on its way out of the solar system. They will continue to study Planet Vee until it is out of sight.”
