EIGHT:

"Bakit hindi mo naman sa akin sinabi na allergic ka dun?" Sabi niya habang nag lalakad kami kaya napatigil ako sa pag lalakad at tinignan siya.

"Why? Nag tanong ka ba?" Sagot ko sa kanya

"Oo na!" Pikon na sabi niya natawa naman ako sa kanya. Tapos nag away pa kami kanina kasi nga bibili ako ng bag tapos ayaw niya wag daw ako gumastos. "Are you aspiring to become a Accountant?" I raised my brow. "No, I want to become a CEO of our company" i corrected him.

"Let's go hang out" i told him.

"I hate partys" sabi niya sakin. I raised my eyebrows, "oh i see" Hinatid niya lang ako pabalik sa University tapos dumiretso ako sa room ko. Bukas na pala birthday ni Stella at nasettle ko naman na nag invite na din ako ng ibang friends ko. Kasama ko ngayon sila Aileen, Mica, Jana, Danica dahil pinag usapan namin na may Training kami bukas para sa league next week.

"I don't have a secret boyfriend!" I denied again. Mica looked like she wasn't even convinced. I shook my head and continued walking, trying to get my thoughts out of my head. "I guess I'll just see you later"

"See you! Don't even try ditching!"

I went inside my car and drove home. I raised my brows when I saw Brent's car at the garage. So why he's here at my condo huh. When I went inside my unit, I saw him leaning against the countertop in the kitchen, waiting for his toasted bread. He was still wearing his uniform and his pair of specs.

"Do you want bread?" Brent asked when I glanced at him.

"Hi babies!"I greeted the dogs to purposely. Ignore him. I kissed the top of their heads before I went to my room. I heard him call for my name but I didn't look back. How casual of him to just ask me if I wanted bread after being argue earlier. I started getting ready for our club night after taking a shower. I blow-dried my hair before I started putting on my makeup. I tried to make it simple but fierce because I knew it would just fade later. I braided my Long hair in a halfponytail before putting pin.

I was having a dilemma on what to wear so I just sat on my bed, staring at two dresses. In the end, I just wore the classy glittered red dress ending inches above my krnees. It was fit on my body and the thin strap revealed my arms and collarbones. I partnered it with diamond earrings and black pair of heels.

I put my things inside my black glittered purse before spraying perfume and going out of the room. It was already 8PM and Rhys and I needed to go there early so we could see if everything was ready. The party will start around 10:30 PM.

When I went downstairs, Brent was in the living room, playing with the dogs. When he saw me, his eyes quickly surveyed my body from head to toe. I glanced at him for a moment before rolling my eyes.

"Galit ka ba?" Nagtatakang tanong niya.

"No," I replied while walking towards the main door with my car keys on my hand. He already showered but he was wearing Sweats so he was probably not going to the party.

"Bakit hindi ka namamansin?" He asked again when I was about to walk out the door.

I stopped and glared at him. He raised his brows and held his chest dramatically when he saw my threatening look. He looked around and pretended that I was glaring at someone else but him.

"Galit si boss sayo," he told Aki my dog.

I rolled my eyes and went out, ignoring him. Nag-drive na lang ako papunta sa club nila Beatrice. It was still traffic so I arrived a little late inside. It was pleasing to see an empty club waiting for its guests. The party was going to be chaotic but chaotic for me was un. It wasn't totally free. The guests can pay how much they want but since we invited Some people in the same social circle as Rhys, I was sure we would get enough.
