Growing up

Chapter 6

3 months later
Barbara's ex was sentenced to 8 years in prison. All three baby's where playing on the ground Erin was already crawling and Charlie and Landon where just learning to sit up on there own. Erin managed to crawl away from her mom and brothers. Erin ended up by the kitchen.
Barbara: "Erin I wouldn't do that."
Erin reach out for something on the ground. Erin picked it up and dropped it. Erin started crying. She had picked up a butter knife of the ground. She got a tiny cut on her foot but nothing serious. Bunny left her crying until the boys started to cry too. She calmed them all down then put them to sleep. Barbara heard a knock at the door so she went and answered it.
Barbara: "oh hi."
Teddys dad: "hi."
Barbara: "what are you doing here."
Teddys dad: " I came to help pack."
Barbara: "oh my god I for got we were moving to Chicago."
Teddys dad: " yeah so are we going to start packing."
Barbara: "yeah."
They started packing up some stuff and moving out of the house. They finished up half the house they just left Teddys room some stuff in the kitchen and bathroom and Barbara's room.

*Next day*

Barbara got the last of the stuff packed up then they all left for Chicago. The twin slept most of the way and teddy played with his toys. Teddys dad was moving to Chicago too she he was in the moving truck while Barbara and the kids where in the family car. They still had a long drive to go.
They arrived in Chicago after a 6 hour drive with four kids. They drove up to there new house. It was a run down old house. Barbara got the baby's and teddy out of the car. The house was already furnished they just had a move in their personal stuff. Barbara put the twins down in the living room and went out side and started unpacking. They finished moving most of the stuff in but it was getting late so Barbara put all of the kids down. Barbara wasn't the gentlest with Lindsay when she laid her down. Lindsay hit the side of the crib, she started crying.
Barbara: "shut up you little bitch."
Lindsay keep crying intel Barbara slayed her across the face. Lindsay shut up and sat there with tears in her face. Barbara walked out of her room.

Over at the halstead house.
Everyone was in bed and sleeping. Jay started crying. Jenny got up and went to see what jay was crying about.  She walked in to jays room and there was big red flames.
Jenny: TIM GET THE KIDS OUT SIDE.
Tim: why....
Jenny: the fucking house is on fire.
Tim: oh.
Tim ran and woke up the other kids. Then they all ran outside. Jenny called 911. They all watch there house burn. Jenny took the kids to there grand parents while the fire fighters put out the fire. The fire spread to the whole house so there was nothing left. Jenny and tim walked through the brunt up house. The found jays baby blanket perfectly fine and same with wills. The twins on the other hand lost everything but there phones.
Tim and Jenny head over to where the kids where. They gave the boys there blankets and then told the girls how bad it was.
