Lorelie rushed back home, it was dark out now. She quickly opened the front door and creeped in the house, she closed the door behind her. Lorelie turned around but only to jump and the sight of her Daughter. "Charm why aren't you asleep?" Lorelie placed a hand on her heart as she asked this question to Charm.
"Couldn't sleep, I was to busy wondering why you won't let me go with you" Charm replied bitterly, if she wanted to go next time. She would have to push her mother to the edge and force her to say yes. "I have told you, I don't want you around them I don't trust them" Lorelie replied as she placed her bag down on the table.
"Then if you don't trust them, why would you go help them" Charm made a good point. Lorelie sighed, she couldn't think of a single thing to say back. Lorelie shook her head instead of speaking, "use your voice, speaks to me why can't I go" Charm hissed. She rarely talked to her mother in this manner. But Charm had a right to believe that Lorelie was up to something, why would she go help the people she doesn't trust?
"You can't come, I am your mother I can control what you can and can't do!" Lorelie suddenly spoke back, "you have been so up in my face for years. Just for once let me go and have some freedom!" Charm replied. Lorelie sighed, she looked away from Charm. "I am going back tomorrow" She began.
"You can tag along" She finished, Charm smiled. "Thank you" She thanked her mother, "but only if you go to sleep now. You will be tired and moody tomorrow if you don't" Lorelie smiled. Charm rolled her eyes and walked back up the stairs. She closed her bedroom door and smiled, it was about time she finally got her won way.

"Be polite and remember that you don't speak to any of the Atreides family and you just go talk to Arabella" Lorelie asked Charm, she nodded. Earlier that morning Charm promised that she would talk to Arabella and help her out. Arabella was Charm's best friend who happened to work for the family. It wasn't what Charm hoped for but it was certainly better than nothing.
Lorelie knocked on the door, a woman opened the door. "Hello, this is my daughter. She is here to help Arabella one of your workers" Lorelie quickly said, "ok that's fine" Jessica smiled at Charm who kindly returned it. "Arabella is just across there in that room" Jessica pointed to a door. "Ok thanks" Charm smiled.
The place was huge, it had everything you could ever dream of. But Charm didn't have time for looking around. Her mother would be done very soon and she hadn't spoken to Arabella in ages. It would be nice to catch up, she opened the door to reveal Arabella dusting.
"Knock knock" Charm spoke, Arabella turned her head to face Charm. "Charm? Oh my god. hi!" She rushed over and hugged charm. "Hello" charm spoke into the hug, "what are you doing here?" Arabella asked. "Mum is working for Lady Jessica and let me tag along and help you out" Charm explained.
"That's good I could use an extra hand" Arabella smiled as she handed Charm a duster, "how do you even dust?" Charm asked which caused Arabella to laugh. "Oh Charm, I have to teach you how to do everything" Arabella walked over to Charm and began to show her how to dust.
"I would of thought there would be some cool device for this shit but I guess not" Charm smiled, Arabella shook her head.
After a few moments of dusting, another woman dressed just like Arabella came in. "Can you do the laundry in Paul's room" she asked, Arabella rolled her eyes. "Why" she groaned. "I did if yesterday, it's only fair" the woman sighed. "Fine but I'm going to need your help Charm" She handed Charm the basket.
"Fine" Charm huffed and she began to follow Arabella up the stairs. "Who's room are we doing?" Charm asked, "Paul. The son of Duke Leto" Arabella replied as they reached a door. Charm sighed, Lorelie told her not to talk to any Atreides family members but what could she do while she wasn't here.
Arabella knocked on the door before she opened it, she took the box out of Charms hand and then forced charm into the room. "Hello Paul" Arabella smiled, Paul looked up and immediately locked eyes with Charm. His face fell, "it's you" he muttered. Charm tilted her head slightly, "who" she asked. "I know you" He spoke, "how" she replied.
She had never met this man in her life, she wondered what made him think that.
"Don't worry" he smiled, "I am Paul Atreides" He introduced himself. "I know I am Charmaine Caddel, but everyone calls me Charm" Charm replied with a smile. "Are you from Arrakis?" Paul asked, Charm nodded. "It's not all that great here" Charm replied. "People only like it because of the spice" Charm spoke.
"I like it here, i always found this planet interesting" Paul smiled at Charm. "Ok, I'm done. Come on Charm let's get going" Arabella pulled Charm back out the room.
Why was he so shocked to see her when she first made her appearance?
