Chapter 3

3rd person pov
The night went by and it's finally morning. (Y/n) woke up earlier than usual just because she wanted to give a little something to Kenma as thanks. She decided she would make a bento for Kenma's lunch. (Y/n) got up then washed her face before she start prepping. After that, she went downstairs, put on an apron then started prepping for the bento.

(Y/n) started by preparing some bell peppers, and eggs for her omelette then potatoes, an onion, ground beef, and breadcrumbs for her korokke (japanese croquettes). After that, she chopped the bell peppers for her omelette. She continued to prepare the other ingredients for her croquette. 45 minutes into cooking, Yaku came home. He stayed at his project partner for the night to finish their work. "Hello (y/n)" he greeted. "Good morning nii-chan! Have you had your breakfast?" (Y/n) asked without taking her eyes off the frying pan. Yaku walked into the kitchen to see what was going on. "Yup already did. Oh, what do we have here?~ is this for me?" Yaku asked, knowing it was definitely not for him. "Nope" she replied jokingly. She planned to make some for Yaku too since she wanted to do something nice for her relative. "Is it for Kenma perhaps?~" (y/n) started blushing and didn't say a single thing about it. "I'll take that as a yes" Yaku chuckled at his relatives reaction then patted her head before he went upstairs to get ready. (Y/n) shook her thoughts away then continued giving her attention to her cooking.

Another 30 minutes passed and (y/n) was done preparing the bento. Yaku came down, ready to go to school earlier to give final touches to his project. "I'll head off now!" Yaku shouted from the front door. "Wait nii-chan!" (Y/n) walked quickly towards the front door. "I was only joking when i said no earlier. I made some for you too! Here take it!" She said handing over one bento to Yaku. Yaku's eyes softened and smiled. He grabbed the bento from (y/n)'s. "Thank you (y/n). I'll see you at school, okay?" Yaku said, waving goodbye to his relative. (Y/n) waved back before she goes back into the house to get ready for school.
You'd better take a good care of her Kenma. Yaku thought while he walked to school.

Y/n's pov

-incoming message-
Kenma🐱: Heya, i'm on my way there

I quickly opened the chat to reply to him before i sprayed some of my (favorite scent) scented perfume.

Me: Okay! I'm almost done getting ready. See you👋

I looked at my mirror to give myself final touches before going to school.
Hair is up nicely. Uniform is okay. Sunscreen done aswell. Bag is complete. Okay I'm all good. I thought one last time before giving final touches to the bento. Not long after, I heard a knock on the door.
"Good morning!" I said while walking out the door.

Kenma's pov
"Morning" I said in return. "Should we get going?" (Y/n) nodded before locking the door behind her. Today's morning walk was pretty nice. (Y/n) started to talk more than yesterday. I think it's because she's getting used to her life here. We were just talking about the games we play in common. (Y/n) likes to play RPG type of games so she mostly talks about the game theories while I just listen to her rambling about the theories and enemy bosses in the game. "Oh right, kenma! I almost forgot. Here!" She said holding a bento box. "Remember when i said i wanted to give you something as thanks right? Well I decided to make you a bento! Here take it!" She said handing over the bento box. I happily accepted the bento boxz "thanks (y/n)! Did you make it this morning?" I asked since the bento box was warm. "I did! I woke up earlier than usual to make it actually" She replied while taking out her phone that was ringing. "Sorry Kenma, someone's calling" (y/n) said and i nodded. She picked up the phone and—
