3rd person pov
Few days have gone by. It's now friday and it's currently the evening. The volleyball club was busy practicing as usual. (Y/n) being the manager was also busy writing down improvements of the boys. Everyone's getting better and better, though Lev still needs improvement in receiving.

Well I don't expect much from him tbh. He's gifted with his height ugh please donate some. (Y/n) thought to herself. Her sight then shifted to a certain pudding head. Everyone was busy practicing on their own so (y/n) took the chance to admire one's features. From head to toe, she admired every single feature the boy has. How could someone this pretty gets under appreciated by other girls?

"What are you doing?" Yaku approached the girl who was sitting on the bench. He took a quick break from helping Lev with his receives as always. "Enjoying the view" (y/n) bluntly replied. "What view— ohh you're getting more obvious everyday little one" Yaku said with a smirk when he found out what the 'view' was. "I'm a fucking simp that's why" (y/n) rolled her eyes as she get up to prepare water bottles for the team. Yaku chuckled and stared at (y/n) in awe. "The little one is finally giving in huh?"

"I'm a fucking simp that's why" I heard (y/n) said. I can't help but get angry. I'm angry that the fact she moved on already and I'm here thinking I had moved on ever since that day she left. Turns out, I was hurting myself even more. I cheated and I was wrong. (Y/n) deserves better but I can't accept the fact she has someone to fill up the empty space in her heart that used to be occupied by me.

"What's wrong Shoto?" Kuroo asked. "Oh I see... It's (y/n), isn't it?" I widened my eyes in response. "Shush quiet she might hear you"
Before I knew it, (y/n) was already standing right beside me and Kuroo. "Drink up you guys" She said offering each of us water bottles. "Thanks (y/n)" Kuroo said and I did the same. "So (y/n), how's your life becoming a manager of our club?" Kuroo asked. "It's been great actually. I doubt myself at first since this was really out of my comfort zone but I know my abilities when it comes to managing stuff." (Y/n) answered before going back to the bench. "She's different now huh..." I thought out loud. "Mind explaining?" Kuroo asked out of curiosity.

"Well... back in (country), we went to the same school and we've been in the same class for our whole years of Junior High. I get to witness her everyday in class. She's always capable in leading group projects and managing the members but she never really nominated herself to be the group leader unless the other members chose to. She was the outgoing type of person too. Our juniors look up to her a lot. They greet her everytime they get to see her in the hallways. In response, she would wave back and flash a smile towards them." I took a deep breath before continuing. "After our break up, I never really know what happened. We never contacted each other, never seen each other in reunions, basically disappear from each other's lives. Then our first year of High School came. The only person who is still in touch with her is her best friend. Other people who know her never really knew where she went or how she's doing. The next thing I knew, one of my friends once visited her school back in (country). She went quiet. Not as bright as she used to be. Some even said that she's struggling with social anxiety. She changed. I never really believed in that though. Not long after, i heard from her best friend that she had moved to Japan. We never really knew why, her best friend never mentioned."

Kuroo was still there listening to me without a single face of judgment. Then I continued. "Coincidentally, I had to move back here because of my mother. She got married again since my father had already passed. I never really knew what to expect being here. My mom registered me to be schooling here in Nekoma High. Turns out, (y/n)'s here too. I get to witness with my own eyes how she changed. I can see that she's the type to only be outgoing to people she's comfortable with. You know "quiet in public, outgoing in private" type of thing. There I realized, it was my fault for her change."
