Chapter Three- Like Father, Like Son

RAY'S POV

Henry stood there, in my door. A place I never expected him to be.

"What are you doing here, Henry?" I said.

"Ray, there was a big alien guy. He came to Dystopia and stole some kind of box from the museum. He nearly killed Jasper and Charlotte, Ray. You were right."

"Oh god..." was all I could say.

"Wait," said Chapa, "Big alien guy? Box? What was this guy's name?"

"He said it was, uh... Stompinwolf? I think?" said Henry.

"Oh no, I know about this guy." Said Chapa, "He's really dangerous."

"Yeah, no duh! He almost killed two of my friends."

"Chapa, what do you know about this alien guy?" I said.

"My mother used to tell me a story." She said. "He brought an army to Earth five thousand years ago. They were going to conquer the planet. But an alliance between all the different people of Earth caused them to retreat. But they left behind three magic boxes, that when combined would terraform a planet to a copy of the user's homeworld. One was given to the Dystopians, one to the Mole People, and one to a tribe that lived not too far from here. That box was buried to protect it from being used for bad."

"Crap, that doesn't sound good." I said

"So, what's the plan?" said Henry

"We're gonna get the other boxes before he does and hide them from him."

"Not something we can do," said Chapa, "If the boxes turn on, he can track them."

"I could probably track one." Mika said, "Maybe if we do something to the box, he won't be able to track it in the first place."

"These things are advanced machines, Mika." Said Chapa, "They might be too advanced."

"I can do it." Mika said, "Trust me."

"Oh-kay." Chapa said, skeptically.

"Great," Mika said, "I'm gonna need a computer."

"Right over here!" Schwoz said.

STOMPINWOLF'S POV

I teleported into the Underground Tunnels. I was instantly surrounded by Mole People. Disgusting creatures. Always... digging. Its dirty. Whatever. I let my Wingeddemons deal with them. I was looking for the magic box.

And it appeared I had found it.

It was a room that appeared to be their church. They were worshipping it.

"Hey!" said the Mole Priest, "You aren't a Mole Person! What are you doing in our Underground Tunnels?"

"I am Stompinwolf of Armageden," I said, "I've conquered one hundred thousand worlds, I'm the lieutenant of Lightpart. Blah blah blah, I'm here for the magic box. Hand it over."

"You can't have the magic box," the Priest said, "We worship it. It's our entire existence."

"Well too bad." I said.

Then I started swinging my axe around at all the Mole People. Then the Mole Military came in and started attacking. These Mole People are so difficult. But I eventually reached the Magic Box. I grabbed it and teleported away. I didn't need to be in those disgusting tunnels any longer.

CHAPA'S POV

Mika's been working for hours trying to track down the Swellview magic box. Apparently she had gotten ahold of one's signal, but then it disappeared. I guess Stompinwolf beat us to it. I had always questioned my mother if the story was real, and Henry coming through that portal had confirmed it.

Mika came out of the door.

"I have good news." She said, "I found it."

"You found it?" Bose said.

"Yes. It's in M.O.O.N Labs."

"That's where Mom and Dad work," said Miles.

"Yep." Said Mika, "We have to break in there and get that Magic Box before it activates and Stompinwolf finds it.

"So, we break into M.O.O.N Labs, steal the Magic Box, smash it into a million pieces, and then go to the nice Nacho Ball."

"Its not that simple Ray," said Mika, "These things are just as indestructible as you, if not more. Destroying them won't be easy. And even if we try to destroy it, that might activate it. Our best bet is to steal it and then throw it in a volcano or something. Then at least Stompinwolf can't get to it even if it activates."

"Alright then," Ray said, "Volcano it is. But first we need to find it."

"Miles, can you teleport us to M.O.O.N Labs?" I said.

"I've never teleported other people before. Most of the time when I teleport I end up somewhere I don't want to be. Like one time, I was trying to teleport to Dairy Queen, and I somehow ended up in Madagascar. And that lemur liked to move it move it."

"Yeah, I doubt that would happen here."

"Why?"

"Because plot convenience."

"Good point."

"So are you teleporting us there?"

"Yeah, I guess."

So we all grabbed on to Miles and teleported to M.O.O.N Labs.

MIKA'S POV

When we arrived in M.O.O.N Labs, I saw several Wingeddemons flying around attacking people. It appeared that Stompinwolf was either here or on his way.

Ray ran into the nearest room. I saw my parents in the room.

"Captain Man? What are you doing here?" said my mom.

"I know why these attacks are happening. You should get to safety immediately. Where's the magic box?" said Ray.

"Excuse me?" Said my dad, "That thing is highly powerful."

"Its also the reason why this place is being attacked. I need it to stop this attack permanently."

"Its across the building." Said my dad, "They've been experimenting on it for weeks in Experimentation Room #6."

"Alright. Now get to safety."

We ran out of the room. Ran across the building fighting through Wingeddemons to get to Experimentation Room #6. When we got there, Stompinwolf had beaten us to the box. He grabbed the box, we heard a voice.

"NO!" I heard my dad say from behind us. He ran up to a nearby laser and shot it at the Magic Box. Big mistake. Stompinwolf tore off a spike from his armor and threw it at my dad. It stabbed him right through the heart.

"NO!" Miles yelled. "YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT, YOU BIG THANOS RIPOFF!"

Stompinwolf just looked over at us and said, "So begins the end." And then he teleported away.

"He's gone." Was all I could say.

Then my mom walked in and saw my dad's body. She got on the ground and started crying.

We all walked out in silence. Miles teleported us back to the Man's Nest.

Things would never be the same after today. All I knew was that Stompinwolf would die for that. This was more than a battle to save the world. This was personal now.

I noticed a signal on the computer. It was the magic box. In the heat of the moment, I forgot we could track it.

"Wait, we're still tracking the magic box. We can track it to wherever Stompinwolf is hiding and we can kill him."

"WELL, DO IT THEN!" yelled Ray

So I did.
