In the next morning, the gang are almost there to the Glacier Pass, the gang are now in the Half Peak. Sid is holding Baby Roshan and cleans him up.
Sid: Let's get you all cleaned up. What's your Daddy gonna say if you go back all stinky.
Eleanor: I bet he's clean and shiny but were almost there in the Half Peak.
Manny: Yeah, Kiddo.
Sid: Let me just clean that up. That looks good. A little bit here.

Sid: Diego, what do you think?
Diego on the other hand, he looked at the distance.
Diego: Maybe, we shouldn't do this.
Sid: Why not?
Diego: If we save him, he'll be a hunter and who do you think he'll hunt?
Sid: Well maybe because we save him.
Diego: Yeah, and maybe he'll grow fur and a long skinny neck and call you mama.
They all shocked at Diego.
Manny: What's your problem?
Diego: Nothing. Let's go. I'm freezing my tail off.
The gang are all confused while Eleanor found something suspicious to him so they continued to walk. Then, Diego spotted his packs are waiting for him to ambushed.
Manny: Diego. You frozen back there?
Diego: Get down.
Eleanor: Huh?
Manny: What?
Diego: Get down and follow me.
Eleanor: What's goin' on?
Diego: At the bottom of Half Peak, there's an ambush waiting for you.
Manny: What?
Later, Manny realized that Diego betrayed them.
Manny: What do you mean, "ambush"? You set us up.
He grabbed Diego and pinned him to the wall with his horns. Eleanor got shocked that she found out that Diego was the part of the Saber Tooths' pack who killed her parents.
Diego: It was my job. I was to get the baby, but then...
Manny: You bought us home for dinner.
Sid: That's it. You're out of the herd.
Eleanor: (Sadly yet Angrily tone) You! Your the one planned us up! And you must be the part of the Packs who killed my family and my tribe!
Diego: I'm sorry.
Manny: No, you're not. Not yet.
Diego: Listen, I can help you.
Manny: Stay close, Sid. We can fight our way out.
Diego: You can't. The Pack's too strong. You have to trust me.
Manny: Trust you? Why in the world would we trust you?
Diego: Because I'm your only chance.
The gang slowly decided to trust Diego because he's now change his heart. Later, The Packs are waiting for him until Diego has arrived.
Diego: Hello ladies.
Oscar: Look, who decided to show up. Diego, I was beginning to worry about you.
Diego: No need to worry. In about two minutes, you'll be satisfying your taste for revenge.
