Sunflower

Blood dripped off the tip of your sword. You stare blankly at the person you had just killed. You didn't feel sad. Or happy. You weren't psychotic or a sadist. You weren't all that emotional either. You just didn't care. However that doesn't mean you were emotionless. You have emotions you just didn't express them since that... that horrible day. You wanted to forget the memories that made you cry and suffer. Forget her. But you couldn't. No matter how hard you had tried. Those memories never seem to fade.

"Get her! Avenge him! And make sure she will fall!" Said the screams of those who dare come towards you. Strike you down? And defeat you? Ruin the beauty in which Eternity has brought to us? No. You couldn't let that happen. Not now. Not ever. These ignorant fools could ever understand.

You gripped your blade, starring directly at the resistance. Holding up your sword to whom ever came your way. Whatever happens you shall win. Right? You raised your sword as you were about to strike the traveler. Just as you did a boy came to their aid as he used his blade upon you. "He looks like him" You thought. Pushing the boy further down but all was stopped by as he pushed you away.

You grunted in shock. He was actually able to push you back. That made you tsk as you felt a force push you back. Behind you was a hole. Not just any hole. The black hole we all know that is beyond the stars itself. The dangerous thing people fear that will be the fate of this crooked world. You felt the weight under you lift as you were dragged in. Erased. From this world without a trace.

Warmth. You felt something rested on top of your forehead. It was wet and warm. You opened your eyes to see a woman singing along to an old song you never heard of. She was old and yet had such a nice voice. You sat up as you stared at her. Her hair was tied in a short braid. Wrinkles on her face as she wore a calming smile. She wore a magenta sweater with a black, gray, and white patterned skirt. She was siting on top of a stool while knitting.

As soon as she heard the shift she looked up at you.

"Oh~ You're awake!" she said. You narrowed your eyes at he but kept your emotionless stare. You didn't expect anything from the elderly nor you hated them. Sometimes you'll overhear people complaining about their grandmothers or fathers complaining about their well doing. Telling them three hour stories with no meaning and take note on that. No matter how foolish humans can be doesn't mean you aren't allowed to be curious about most things.

"Where am I mortal?" You asked looking around. There were many unfamiliar things about this place. The beds looked more comfortable. There were these weird looking versions of toys the children of Inazuma has played with. However they looked more strange. A black 3-d shaped box with metal like wires sticking on top.

"This is my Granddaughter's old bedroom. Which is located inside off my house here in Modern Japan. I found you in a alley way and it took me four hours to bring you in." She explained. "That long?!" You thought. That was odd. Such old woman was able to do this in four hours?

Well she is human after all. Her saying that made you question about your health. Are you that heavy? have you been eating too much? You didn't know but you sighed not caring about that anymore.

"How odd." You thought. You were about to stand but soon the headache you weren't aware about started to kick in. You groaned feeling a bit nauseous. You stayed on the bed as the old lady laid you back down.

"How about in the mean time you stay here and I'll hospitalize you until you get healed alright. You don't want to open your wound would you?" She asked. She was right out of all things. You felt tired, weak, and sick. But all could you do is agree. I mean a little hospitality wouldn't hurt right? You just hoped your land was nowhere near the brick of destruction.

"My name is Akio," she said. Her name really did resemble who she was. A bright person indeed. Maybe it won't be so bad right?

Two months,

There it has been. Months have passed and yet here you are. Not returning. In the meantime you've learned how to understand this strange world. It felt no different from the world you lived in. But humans possessed no power and were as weak as the vision-less people, those who contain any meaning but to serve under your wing.

You sighed a bit while sitting on a bench in the city. You watched the clouds go by and waited. For what? To go back of course! But nothing happened. You always came here when the old lady was out and about. To not look out of the ordinary, you wore a sleeveless thigh length dress. Black tights and some flip-flops. That was all. Nothing special to you anyway.

However you've caught some people glancing your way as their cheeks turned red. Or not. Depending on their skin color that is. You didn't care to say the least they were pathetic anyways.

You sighed as you felt a weight on the bench next to you. You turned your gaze onto a salmon pink colored hair boy who wore a plain yellow sweater, and some blue jeans. He looked straight but as soon as you took your eyes off of him. You felt a stare creep down your spine.

You turned your head again and he smiled.

"Hi there! I'm Yuji Itadori! I've noticed you were quite alone so I've decided to come and talk to you. Your eyes explain it all you know? They look pale and lost." He said. He's kind and you took note on that. How strange. With no answer he decided to do the unexpected.

"These were supposed to be for my grandfather but I'll give them to you to make your day better?" Itadori handed you a flower from the bouquet. It was a common sunflower. So nice and delicate and easy to destroy. You took the flower as you kept staring at it. He wasn't like those pathetic people who were high over heels for you, and yet he was different.

"Those are my Grandfather's favorite! I'm sure he'll get mad but hey you looked like you were in the moment of despair. I'm sure he'll understand?" he said. You shook your head.

"Baal ( Y/N )." was what you had said to him.

"Ball? Did you want a ball or something? I mean which one? There are a lot of them! Beach ball, soccer ball, foot ball, tennis ball, and even a man's balls. Wait. Is that what you wanted? I'm sorry but we just met-"

"No you fool. My name is Baal," You replied staring daggers at him. He oohed as he felt a bit embarrassed by almost calling you a pervert which you weren't.

"Oops, sorry. I thought you were some kind of weirdo that's like on something. Sorry. Really I am," he chuckled- scratching the back of his head. Talk about awkward.

"But hey you've talked! That's all that matters right now! Anyways I gotta go right now! My gramps would be mad knowing I ain't over at the hospital right about now. He'll sure get pissed and start throwing curse words at me," he quivered at the thought giving you a smile of good-bye.

"Let's meet here tomorrow! At the same time okay! I would like to know more about you," he said running off. You stared at him as he faded from your sight. "What a child." You thought to yourself. It doesn't matter anymore. Maybe you'll do him a favor and repay him by coming back.

"Did you have fun today?" Akio asked.

"I guess I did," You said.

Author's note: So you must be wondering. "Why did she say Baal?" Well you know how Baal's real name is Ei. So replace Ei with Y/N. You know. You're real name? So that's why. And part of the other reason was to make that joke. Happy reading~
