18. Titles

I looked up at Vic as he squeezed my hand. "Yes?"

His brown eyes were focused on me as his teeth scraped over his bottom lip. The hesitation on his face worried me slightly, causing me to grip his fingers a little tighter. "What is it, Vic?" I mumbled.

He released a breath and swallowed, "I know we haven't known each for a very a long time, and that you still might be a little unsure about who you are, or if you're ready. All I know is that over the past few months I've come to love you're company. You make me so happy and I hope I make you feel the same... What I'm really trying to say is that- I like you, a lot. Will you please give me the honor of being your boyfriend?"

"Kelli-I'm confused." I said slowly, my hand that wasn't in Vic's messing with my ear. "I thought we already were boy friends." I furrowed my eyebrows together as I tried to process all that Vic had said. I felt everything that Vic felt, and I liked him a lot. Him asking me if I wanted to be his boy friend, though, confused me. Had he not thought of me as a friend before this?

"Aren't we already boy friends?" I asked sadly.

Vic lips twitched upwards and he smiled, "No, Kells. Not boy friend, I'm asking you to be my boyfriend. It's pretty much how we have been, just a more official title. We'll still kiss, hug, and snuggle, but now it'll be even better."

"How is there a difference?"

"Well, Jaime and Mike are boys that are friends, you and me- if you say yes- will be so much more. Please, I know you don't understand most of this, but you're learning. You are so smart and talented, I know that pretty soon you'll be past even me." Vic explained, making my face burn in embarrassment as he complimented me. There was so much to what he was saying, but I got the gist of it. The possibility of me and Vic being more than what we already were made me giddy. So, with a bright smile painted over my features, I nodded, "Of course I'll be your boyfriend, Vic."

His eyes were brighten than the sun as he pushed out plates to the side and kissed me.

"Would it count as beastiality if you two had sex?" Mike asked casually as Vic and I cuddled on the couch. I heard my boyfriend gasp and looked up to see his face disgusted and flaming red. "Mike!" He squealed, his voice higher than usual. "No! Why would you even ask that?"

"I was just wonderi-" The taller Mexican boy was cut off when one of the couch pillows smacked him in the face. "You are no longer allowed to speak." Vic huffed and pulled me closer to him. I twirled my black hair through my fingers and glanced at Vic through my lashes, "What is bea-bestiality?" I stuttered out, the word catching on my tongue. I saw the look on Vic's face and laughed when he kissed my forehead and said in my ear, "A word you should never say or mention again." I nodded absently and turned my head to see Mike pouting, the pillow laying in his lap.

Tony then walked out of the kitchen and sat by Mike, offering him an amused smile before looking at Vic and me. "So Vic, did you find out if it was Austin who told?" His voice was very curious, and slightly worried.

"It wasn't Austin, as much of an asshole he is, he didn't tell. He wouldn't betray Alan like that. I don't know who else could have, I'm thinking that maybe someone from the lab had seen Kellin and told Gerard. I'm not really sure anymore." Vic said, his voice weary and eyes sad. The way he pulled me closer into him informed me that he was scared to lose me, which made me happy. I just wished he wouldn't worry so much. He thought I didn't notice but the bags under his eyes were obvious enough. The sight saddened me.

I pressed a small kiss to Vic's shoulder and smiled, "I promise, never gonna leave you."

A/N

I am so sorry! I know, I haven't updated in over a month. I promise that I have a sort of good excuse. I've been sad lately, and I don't really know why. I have plenty of free time to update my stories but have really not had the energy to. (Please don't comment about this, I was just telling you.)

The chapters for a little bit will be short, but the next update will be on Thursday, the new official update day!
