Vic
After getting Jaime and Mike introduced to Kellin we all relaxed. I had put a movie in and we all relaxed back to watch, I loved how Kellin was so facinated by the screen, wondering how the pictures were moving. I chuckled when I saw how he batted at the air when someone appeared.
It was great, except it annoyed me how much Mike was staring at Kellin. It irked me and I had no idea why. The cat boy was adorable and unique, anyone would stare at him, it just made me angry that Mike seemed to not even look away. It was when Kellin let out a high pitched meow that I realized I'd zoned out with my thoughts.
Looking around desperatly, as if in great need of something, Kellin huffed. "How!" He yelled. "How is tiny people on box moving?"
The others started laughing and Kellin huddled into me. "Kellin confused." He whispered softly. Looking up with his big kitten eyes, I broke. "Tony, please explain TV to Kellin, I'm gonna go get some food." With that I walked to kitchen, an aggitated Tony looking after me.
I smirked to myself while grabbing a bag of Doritos. The cabinets of my kitchen were pretty much empty, my low paying job not helping much. My eyes landed on a jar on peanut butter, so after grabbing a spoon and a few sodas, I walked back into the living room where Kellin was now sat right in front of the TV, pawing at the screen in distress. I laughed and threw the red bag of chips at Jaime, "What's you guys say?"
"We told him the truth!" Mike laughed, his eyes crinkling. "He didn't believe us."
I looked at Kellin and said, "Kells, theyr'e telling the truth."
An annoyed mewl left his mouth and Jaimie and Mike looked suprised, "How cat like is he?" My taller, younger brother asked.
I scratched at the back of my head, "Well, he can turn into a full cat."
The two looked shocked and Jaimie ran a hand through his tall hair. "Okay." He said, really shocked. Mike looked taken aback but shook his, "I mean, would he like... would he chase a cat toy or a laser pointer?" I shook my head, "I don't know, and he's not just some animal." I said, but, of course, as I said that a loud meow came from Kellin and I turned to see him with his ears perked up and tail bristelled. I face-palmed at my luck. How ironic.
"Lets test my theory." Mike said, but when seeing my annoyed face he pouted and added, "Please?"
Taking one last look at the hybrid I sighed and nodded, "Fine."
"Cool, thanks hermano!" And with that he began to look for my flashlight that had a red laser pointer on it. Tony just shrugged while Jaimelaughed. Kellin finally turned around asked, "What are Mexicans doing?" I laughed and the others smiled in amusement.
Mike flicked the lights off, there was still light streaming through the window, though, so we could still see everything. "What Mike doing?" My brother ignored him, but flicked the red light on and I saw Kellin's eyes widen.
Mike smirked when Kellin jumped forward, his hands clasping over where he thought the dot was, but frowned when it wasn't there. Glancing up he saw it in front of him smirked, his arms reaching in front of him, to clasp what he was now calling 'the little red bug' and hissing when it moved. His tale flicked from side to side and he huffed, readying himself to pounce once again.
My friends and I were laughing as Kellin continued to chase after the laser pointer. Becoming more exasperated every time it seemingly escaped him. It was when a growl escaped him and he lunged that something different happened. In mid-air, his body rapidly shrunk and a small, black kitten landed on the ground. A meow of disappointment leaving it when Mike dropped the pointer, therefor stopping the small beam of light.
I had seen this before, but I was still a little surprised. The other three, though, stared in absolute shock at the little black ball of fur that just changed in front of our very eyes. Kellin's eyes were quite frightened at all the attention. "Aw, c'mere kitten." And with that, he ran into my arms and curled into my stomach.
