"When you was ordering to my house," said Jack. "My uncle was wondering who paid for the food. The delivery guy already told us it was paid."
Osaid didn't really what Jack had said. But then he remembered that he always used to get money from the items he sold online into his father's PayPal account.
When Osaid told Jack this, Jack was even more furious.
"OSAID!" he said. "HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO YOUR OWN FATHER? I KNOW IT'S YOUR MONEY BUT THAT'S NOT GOOD THAT YOU USE HIS ACCOUNT TO PAY FOR THE FOOD. DOES YOUR DAD KNOW?"
Osaid looked down feeling guilty.
"DOES YOUR DAD KNOW?"
"No Jack. He didn't... He still doesn't know to this day." Responded Osaid. "I also used his money to pay for several whisky bottles."
"YOU crazy Osaid." Said Jack. "I use my own money to pay for my food, my stuff. I don't use Jasmine's card."
"How Jasmine doing?"
"She's fine Osaid," said Jack. "She graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University last year."
"That was where I was supposed to go," said Osaid.
"I thought you was gonna go to BCC." Murmured Jack.
"I was supposed to do two years there, then transfer," explained Osaid. "But because of the Sat and Accuplacer tests, I couldn't go."
"Why? You wanted to be stupid for the rest of your life?" said Jack. "Ever since high school, you've always depended on me, Mohsin, and Karen to help you with your homework." Karen was a classmate of theirs back in high school.
"Yes," said Osaid. "The homework was hard. That's why."
"I don't understand why it hard to follow." replied Jack. "You should have been in ed class."
Osaid didn't really pay attention to the last part. But he was hurt, he knew for sure.
"Why?"
"You know why Osaid.
You never asked for help. When you did, you gave the teacher a hard time that she would make us do the work for you. You couldn't memorize steps. Why is so hard to memorize steps Osaid? Why?"
"I don't know Jack." Osaid said sulking. "It's a small problem I have."
"SMALL?"
"Ok, maybe it a little big."
"A Little?"
"Ok, fine. It's big problem." confessed Osaid. "I used to do the same thing when I was an employee of the flower shop."
"What you mean?"
"I would charge the customer $10 extra."
"What you do that for?"
"I did it to make extra money Jack," explained Osaid. "I had no other job opportunities after I graduated high school."
"Was that all you cared about? MONEY????"
