Chapter 2.

Cole:

It was an unknown number, I answered,
"hello?"
"stay away from her."
"who is this?"

They just hung up, That's odd. I made my way home, once i got there, everything was usual, drunk dad passed out in his recliner, with nothing but noise on the TV. I went to the bathroom and showered and got ready for the next day, it was already pretty late. I hope that girls okay, i never caught her name.

I heard my phon ding while i was brushing my teeth,
"hey"
"who is this?"
"Mia, the girl from the train i totally forgot to ask for your name, but i just wanted to let you know i got to work safe. thank you for showing that you cared today :)"
"oh, well hello mia, my names cole. a beautiful name for a beautiful lady. i'm glad you made it to work safe, what school are you going to?"
"EBH"
"awh me too, i hope to we have classes together, but i should head to sleep, busy day tomorrow."

We talked for hours after that, we both have a lot in common, surprisingly.

The next day

It's definitely feels like a Monday morning, i would skip but i want to find out if we have classes together,
First period arts & humanities- nope
Second period Algebra 2- nope, but she walks passed it
Third period English 3- yea, she doesn't sit near me though
Forth period World civ- yup, and she sits in front of me.

Something i can look forward to at the end of the day, and we have the same lunch but we don't eat together, yet.

Mia:

ugh, finally schools over. it was a good first day, i just hate school, but i need to go to college so i can get a good job, i was walking toward the direction of where i work until i heard a voice behind me,

"HEY MIA WAIT!" a female voice yelled, i turned and it was ali, i met her in bio today, i waited until she caught up with me,

"where are you headed to?" she asked. "wendy's, i work there." i replied, she had a slight grin. "cool, i work there too, wanna ride?"

i accepted her ride, it's chilly, and windy, i guess that's why it's called the 'windy city'. i clocked out and she drove me to the train station, i took my train home and took a shower, brushed my teeth and hair, and was about to go to sleep until my phone buzzed,

"hey beautiful"
"well hello cole"
"how was your first day?"
"it was good, very long and tiring but good"
"glad to hear, i saw you talking to ali today"
"yea, she's in my bio class, we both work at wendy's so she gave me a ride there, and to the train station"
"interesting.. but i'll talk to you tmr love, i'm tired. sleep good 🖤"

weird. i had no idea he was into me.
