"Mr. Potter this has been explained to you by letter and an office goblin. You are on trial. You are not allowed any funds besides the ones given to you. You are also not allowed to take any artifacts from your vault or leave Britain."

"You can't take away our money!"

"Yes, we can. We have requested by law that you have these precautions executed for my client's fear of you fleeing."

"Who even is your client?!"

"They have requested not to be known until the trial. They believe you would threaten or kill them before the trial. We are trying to keep this fair, but for what you are being charged everyone agrees this is how we do it."

"My family can't survive on 10,000 gallons!!"

"I can assure you that you can. Many families don't make that in a year and are quite alive. The fact that you believe that you can't live off of 10,000 gallons for two weeks is exactly why you are being brought in for these accusations. Now I can no longer help you. If you need help finding a lawyer we can provide applications, but that would cost money so unless you pay the fee, we ask you to leave and stop causing a scene."

An angry James Potter stomped out of Gringotts that day very angry and quite ready to kill.

Little did he know that the day was about to get worse, for a little bug had heard the entire thing. All because she had been given a tip to be there from 9 am till 10 and meet the tipper in a room at the leaky under the name Riddle after.
