The sky had turned dark as the two left the hospital, Jisung staying behind to keep Jaemin company.

"Hyewon do you wanna get something to eat?" Donghyuck asked as he turned the corner, several food stalls lining the sidewalk.

"Oh my god yes we barely ate today."

It was around 10 pm but there were still people around either closing the shops or having drinks with their friends, their laughs and cheers being very loud.

They got off the car, the smell of food wafting through the air, getting stronger as they approached the stall.

"What do you want?"
"I'll get whatever you're having."

"We'll have two corndogs thank you," he told the woman, pulling out his wallet.
As he waited for their food, Hyewon ambled off a few feet from the stall, looking around.

The atmosphere was quickly dying down, people leaving for their cars, empty glasses and used utensils on the tables outside of the restaurant getting cleaned up by the waiters.

Lights of the shops that were on the opposite side of the street had already been turned off completely, only the street lights illuminating the pathway.

Movement from the shadows caught her eye, squinting them to make out what it was.

A man's figure.
It felt like he was looking at her. She wasn't sure but it sent shivers down her spine anyways.

Who the hell...

She stepped closer to the edge of the sidewalk, debating whether to go over but she stopped in her tracks as the man walked under the streetlight.
Hyewon frowned, cursing under her breath when the man removed his hoodie.

He almost looked exactly like Han Soo.
She was going to call out to the guy when he took off, running down the pavement.
"Hey!" Hyewon shouted after him, dashing onto the road.

It wasn't even a second later when a bright flash of light came from her right, the loud honking making her freeze like a deer in front of headlights.

A hand grabbed onto her waist as she felt herself being pulled back onto the sidewalk, the car driving past with faltering speed.

"Are you TRYING to GET YOURSELF KILLED??!"
He moved his hands onto her shoulders, making her face him but her eyes continued to look for the man that she just saw.

"Sorry there was just some guy that looked like Han Soo."

"What"

She pointed over to the opposite pavement. "I don't know there was just someone standing there then he ran off."

"Is that why you tried to carelessly cross the road?"

He sighed.
"Watch where you're going next time we can't have another person ending up in the hospital."

The girl nodded her head, thinking she was probably seeing things because of how late she stayed up last night.
It couldn't be possible that he's alive.

"Excuse me your corndogs are ready!"

"Alright coming!"

_

"Jesus christ drive carefully will you!"
"Hey hey that was not my fault, he cut in front of me."

Hyewon tightly held onto the seatbelt.
"You're going to get us killed with your reckless driving one day."

"Okay and why is this coming from someone who doesn't know how to drive?"

"Shut up."
She picked her legs up and crossed them on the seat, shoes remaining on the carpet having gotten flicked by Donghyuck for having them on his car seat previously.

Their rides together slowly became more comfortable overtime, even if no one was talking.
She could still remember how awkward and tense the first drive was.

Hyewon looked over at Donghyuck, his eyes glimmering as they focused on the road ahead.

She had noticed his recklessness going away, hence the absence of the smell of blood.
He was also much more friendly nowadays, whatever anger that he had was repressing and fading away.

It's nice.
Not that she didn't like him before, but she just felt closer to him, like there wasn't a wall between them.

"What's on your mind princess?"

"Hm nothing," she answered, averting her gaze away.

"Then were you just staring at me for no reason?"

"Don't flatter yourself."
She shifted her weight onto her right side, turning towards the window, focusing on the single raindrop as it slid down the glass.

Donghyuck took a glance at Hyewon when he finally entered her street, noticing her eyes gradually closing.
He chuckled at her curled up on his seat, pressing one of the buttons to help her recline it.

Her guards were at their posts as usual, standing by the entrance as he pulled over and unbuckled his seatbelt.

"Hyewon?"

She was usually a light sleeper so he tried calling her one more time.
"Hyewon."

He shook his head, a small smile appearing on his lips as he stepped out of his car to go over to the passenger side.

"Idiot," he mumbled.
"Now I have to carry you."

Picking her up, he used his knee to close the door, going around the car and heading towards the front door. He paid no mind to the guards communicating with each other through their eyes as they held the door open for him.

"Good evening Mr Lee would you like me to take her to her room?"

"That's alright Mr Kim I'll handle her," he said as he got onto the elevator.

"Take care of her, she hasn't slept this soundly in a very long time."

"Of course."
Donghyuck gave the older a smile before the lift closed.

The familiar place brought back memories of him being in the same situation the first time he entered her room.
He pushed back the covers, tucking her in once he put her down.

On her bedside table, there was a picture frame of her and her parents. The younger Hyewon hadn't really changed much, but she probably went through as much as he did.

Donghyuck put the frame back in its place and was about to leave when the stacks of paper caught his eye.

He walked closer to the table, picking up the yellow sticky note that was stuck on one of the piles as he turned on the lamp, bringing it under the light.

"The hell is this?"

"The hell is this?"
